I've restarted the computer & Zotero, and cannot get ti to replicate the problem - either in standard or troubleshooting mode!! Apologies I may have created a non-problem. I will keep an eye on Zotero and see if it happens again.

I'm using 7.0.0-beta.77+adaa61f2c (64-bit. When I click on the reference name I expect the full information to appear on the right in the Item pane - but for some reason this is no longer happening. I just get the first selected name, but then chang…

@dstillman Thank you - yes using the left arrow solves the problem BUT don't press more than once as it just brings back the 'unwanted' reference. Just in case it is of concern - I think making the last edited/selected reference so readily availabl…

I am loving the redesign. Special thanks for the ability to click on the link beside a URL and go to the website. I also like the feature which automatically bring sup the last selected reference in the Zotero window. I am having one problem. When …

Thanks - that seems perfectly reasonable. My need for a separate count relates to counting the number of specific item types - perhaps there is a need for a brief note in the appropriate help page noting this behaviour.

Apologies - I thought I had followed the pop up box instructions, copied the error message number and posted. I've closed Zotero down and restarted and all is happy. N

Many thanks for the fast responses. 1) yes, I have other fields (cross-references, index, table of contents, etc) 2) so removing all fields is not a desirable option 3) Find & Replace option looks perfect - many thanks. I have my answer with 2…

I would also like to give my HUGE thanks to the team - Zotero has performed brilliantly as I work on my 268 page,757 reference, 17 Meg thesis. My only issue is the speed of adding a new reference, editing an existing reference or updating the refere…

No - I've just added them this morning (my time) so the 'Date Accessed' should equal the 'Date'. Last night I went to be bed early ;}
-
One other comment - importing them also added a 'date' field which was the date/time of importing (although not my local time - here is it 28 March 12.09 pm, the date/time is given as 27 Mar 20:44), not the date/time of accessing the web page.

Success - importing them solved the problem. Many thanks.

whoops - sorry I didn't fully understand your last posting before I provided the file. Here is the gist link https://gist.github.com/anonymous/9820952

Sorry but I don't have (and don't want to get) a github account. Here is a Dropbox link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/autjwuxujykw5l3/NCEA.rdf

Hi - many thanks for the prompt reply. I also thought it was a mis-spelling or an extra space, so I cut and pasted the author into both references - and still the same problem. In case it was somehow related to the in-document reference, I deleted a…

I'm working on duplicates, so another comment. I have 2 books, both by the same author & publisher (titles as shown in the title list): "Otago cavalcade, 1911-1915" "Otago cavalcade, 1901-1905" These are definitely different books (the tit…

First time comment, so apologies if I'm not quite following protocol. The duplicates feature is great, BUT - I have 5 papers from a single conference (obviously the same conference name for each of the 5). Each has a different author(s) and a …
