I restored from an older data folder, reset the online library (to remove the related items for each entry) and now the sync seems to be uploading the attachments. Thanks!

okay. I might have a slightly older copy of the Zotero data folder on a USB drive, I'll probably try to restore from that instead of removing these relations. Thank you for your help, I'll update here if that helps with the syncing !

It looks like all the items are related to 600+ items, and I can't seem to find a way to remove all of them en masse . Does that really affect the data sync?
