Disabling file sync only prevents future files from being sync'd, correct? And purge storage removes files from the desktop application, but they want to preserve those.

A student, so they do not have to purchase more storage for their online Web Library, would like to remove all the PDFs from all items in the Web Library, but retain PDFs in their desktop application.

I have several times. I can email you a test ezproxy account if you'd care to test it. This is not just my computers, but almost every student's personal computer that I have worked with. It's a bug.
