Thanks for pointing that out. Yes, it does indeed look like the same thing!

Annoyingly, this bug seems to appear and disappear randomly. I just restarted the app, and it's not showing up now. It's happened like this before.
-
Thanks again: makes sense.
-
Thanks very much. A few possibly silly questions, if you don't mind... - On the web page, the book is labelled "English translation supplement", and "English translation" on the cover page itself. Should this be included in "Edition" perhaps, or is…

I presume 'Short Title' and 'Series Title' should also be sentence-cased? What about other fields, like 'Proceedings Title', 'Conference Name', or even 'Publication', however? @emilianoeheyns Very handy, thank you.

Thanks very much. And yes, that's a fair point about multiple transliteration methods.
-
Yes, makes sense, thanks.

Ah, thank you. That makes sense. I'd infer from this that "Library Catalogue" is where the metadata is retrieved from, and Repository is where the collection the preprint actually belongs to. If you wouldn't mind quickly checking: what does the Arc…

Thanks. It seems annoying to duplicate this information between 'Pages' and 'Extra', but perhaps I can get betterbibtex to recognise the value of 'Pages' is an EID, with a tag in 'Extra' like 'PagesIsEID: True'.
-
Thanks, that's much clearer now.
-
Ah right, thanks. So this is what BibTeX calls the EID? I wonder if there should be a separate field for that in Zotero.
-
Yes, that's another good use case.
-
Ah, I didn't notice that... thanks.

Report ID: 106893469 I think I see the problem though: the Tools menu only has one shortcut, which a one I set myself in the macOS Keyboard settings. It seems Zotero doesn't play nicely with that, but the built-in shortcuts in e.g. the File menu ar…

@dstillman You mean the handling of my particular use case is now implemented in the codebase? That's great, thank you. Glad to hear a general solution is also in the works.
-
@bwiernik I didn't write "year", but perhaps I wrongly assumed it was CSL syntax when in fact it's an HTML subset. Hope that clarifies.
-
@DWL-SDCA I thought I was pretty clear, but in any case, that's indeed what I mean. Perhaps the confusion was caused by assuming it was CSL, when in fact it's an HTML subset(?) Here's a screenshot to further confirm the issue. https://transfer.sh/…

I'm afraid not. They're permanently disabled, along with items in all other menus (e.g., Tools menu). I just gave the Edit menu as one example.
