Oh OK I thought it might have to be a functioning link. Using that does indeed fix it. Thanks!
-
I get an error every time I try to submit output. I copied the log output though. Can I send it to you privately somehow?

I work in an organisation with roughly fifty Zotero users and many users have begun experiencing this same issue. I'm using Zotero 5.0.34 on Windows 10 with Word. Even in documents with few citations (my current one has 50), when I try to edit a ci…

This patch does indeed work now. Thanks very much for your help.
-
I didn't quite follow that workaround...
-
Restarted computer still no luck. Maybe I installed it wrong? I just went to Tools>Add Ons>Install Add On From File and chose the Propachi Vanilla add in. My original post with CSL gist is here: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/62292/su…

Well I've done those things and I'm still having no luck in a brand new Word document with a fresh reference list.
-
OK I've got it installed now, but this issue still seems to occur. Do I need to do anything aside from installing the plug-in? Restart Word? Zotero Standalone?
-
Actually just checked the version history. Looks like the answer is no. It would be great to get this soon!
-
Is there a release of Zotero Standalone that has this implemented yet?
-
I'm encountering this problem right now. It doesn't happen consistently. In some documents, when Track Changes is on, adding a new citation causes 'field code changed' to be tracked on other citations. But in other documents, adding a new citation h…

Getting trickier... Cat. no. 12345.0 deletes 'no.' Cat. no. 12345 keeps 'no.' no. 12345 gets rid of 'no.' no. 12345.0 gets rid of 'no.'
-
For me, both text variable="number" and number variable="number" suppress the 'no.' regardless of whether i have 12345.0 or just 12345. Also might be worth noting that 'no.' doesn't get suppressed if it's sentence case 'No.'
-
I'm sure it didn't used to...
-
i meant I've just tried using: text variable="number" and number variable="number"
-
I can't quite figure out how to fix this though. I've completely deleted the macro and just tried using and in the bibliography. In both cases, if I have 'Cat. no. 1234.0' in the Report Number field it returns: 'Cat. 1234.0' Is this what I sho…

Thanks for your help.

OK the variable, not the term. Got it.
-
OK right. It did used to work though. Sorry for my ignorance, but which bit do I need to change?
-
Sorry, I'm afraid I don't have Firefox and can't easily install it on a work computer.
-
'Cat. no. XXXX.0' in the Report Number field that is.
-
For me it comes up any time I use a Report item and have 'Cat. no. XXXX.0' using my citation style. For the record, the subsequent-author-substitute issue I was just posting about (https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/62292/subsequent-author-substi…
-
OK I think I did it right... Tools>Add ons>Install Add on from file But I don't see any change to my references (even after refreshing and swapping back and forward between citation styles).
-
How do I install the plugin if I'm not using Firefox?
-
Thanks. I'll await the next update.
-
BUMP. Any thoughts?
-
Actually, I've got a gist now: https://gist.github.com/JoshCraig/46f07e0aa0534bb9a60b7a4310f856b1
-
No worries, understandable. I'll return to this thread when we eventually upgrade.
-
I've sent the debug output through. Thanks.

Connection seems normal. I get a green padlock issued by RapidSSL in all three cases.
