We can do this if you share your style: http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/sharing_styles#submitting_for_casual_coders
-
This can be changed on a per-style basis. Which style would you like to use? (if we can confirm that a style guide requires a different type of sorting, we can change this for all users; otherwise you can use a customized style) A numeric style tha…

I am proposing keeping my title as it is clear and succinct what it contains. To add to Dan's comment, URLs shouldn't be changed unless a) the page title doesn't cover the content anymore, or b) content has to be moved to a different section in the …

I would drop ABNT. It's awkward to have a Portuguese style at the top of the default list of installed styles.

Maybe we should leave out the PLoS style. I was planning to make the style a bit more comprehensive, so I contacted them, but they aren't able to supply any guidance beyond the meager selection of formatted example offered online (I guess they don't…

You followed the instructions at http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles#validation ? If you post your style online, we can take a look. See http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/sharing styles#submitting_for_casual_coders .

The "Search" button at http://forums.zotero.org/search/ still has black text.

Does "is-numeric" parse "Edition 12" citeproc-js does, and currently should: http://citationstyles.org/downloads/specification.html#choose
-
I'm still wondering if we can't handle this more gracefully. Maybe we should make "is-numeric" test true only for completely numerical content. While number extraction is potentially useful, it is only a solution for messy metadata (e.g. by all…

Is a line-spacing value of "0" always wrong? We could change the schema/spec to require positive integers.

Surrounding 1st Vintage ed. in double quotes doesn't help? (see the thread you linked to yourself) Another quick workaround would be to substitute digits for text in these cases, e.g. by using "First Vintage ed.". That should eliminate the prob…

Haven't validated anything, but it looks like the "class" attribute is missing from cs:style.

5. The search results don't update when I shorten the search string by backspacing. (Word 2010, Zotero 3.0b1)

Maybe the insert bar could get an "library" icon on the right end, with a dropdown allowing the user to filter the results by library ("All Libraries", "My Library", "All Group Libraries", "Group Library A", "Group Library B", etc.)?
-
Use the "short" form of the "container-title" variable, e.g.:

Great. Commit access to the GitHub CSL styles repository is now limited to repo maintainers, so pull requests are the way to go.

Rintze, who I believe wrote that page, may want to weigh in I probably just moved it.

@adamsmith, you already changed APA 6th edition just a few days ago to have "van der Linden" sort on "V", right? http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/19215/

I think the "no" for 3.0 is pretty definite. Zotero 3.0 probably won't require a database upgrade, which has advantages for upgrading (and downgrading). It also allows for easy syncing between Zotero 2.1 and 3.0 users. Adding new item types (or fiel…

There is a checkbox under the Cite tab of the Zotero preferences where you can set the default.

The official CSL position is that "sub verbo" is simply not allowed in the current version of the schema. That's not correct, although there is a problem with using "sub verbo" in conditionals. See http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_…

I think that the mapping for report type entries should be from Pages (in Zotero) to number-of-pages in csl This is on the roadmap: https://github.com/ajlyon/zotero-bits/issues/38

What size is the RefMan library? Did you try importing it in fragments?

What are you requesting, exactly?

They're both linked from the blog post above, but more information can be found at: http://blog.apastyle.org/files/alphabetization-in-apa-style-quiz-and-key.pdf (question 9) and http://blog.apastyle.org/apastyle/2010/05/alphabetization-in-apa-style…

"type" is not a CSL variable ( http://citationstyles.org/downloads/specification.html#standard-variables ), and variable="type" isn't valid CSL. I'm surprised it actually does something. :) So no, you can't translate it.
-
Ah, I assumed you had already found http://gsl-nagoya-u.net/http/pub/csl-fields/index.html , which provides mappings between the Zotero fields and CSL variables.
-
For now, you can either switch the Firefox locale, or look directly at the translations files, e.g.: https://www.zotero.org/trac/browser/extension/trunk/chrome/locale/en-US/zotero/zotero.properties?rev=5550#L240 https://www.zotero.org/trac/browser/…
