brazuca, do you have any objections against switching to an Attribution-ShareAlike Creative Commons license, instead of Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike for the UN CEPAL/ECLAC styles? That would also allow users of Mendeley and Papers to use you…

Are you running Zotero in Firefox? If so, which version of Firefox are you using? ( http://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_installation_for_zotero_2.1 mentions that "Firefox 4+ compatibility requires 10.6 Snow Leopard or later, so user…

but I think you're still slightly detached from the real world. Thanks for the kind words. It's moments like these that make our volunteer work worth all the effort. In response to your question: we're more than aware that learning how to edit CSL …

Yes, see https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/wiki/Requesting-Styles . You can keep using this thread.

It's a dependent style: http://citationstyles.org/downloads/specification.html#dependent-styles The style it links to is Vancouver.

This will be fixed in the next version: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/19882/cslpreviewxulcsleditxul-dont-open-in-standalone-under-winxp/?Focus=104463#Comment_104463

@37, maybe the right-click menu in the center pane could be expanded with the entries: * "Add Tags...", which would open a popup window "Add Tag(s)" with an entry field with autocomplete of existing tags (the tags could be shown similar to citation…

I agree that the right-hand column can be a bit cramped for readings abstracts (although you can expand it if you have a bigger screen). That said, the abstract is part of the item metadata and really belongs in the Info pane, not in a note.

No, don't do that. Instructions for (re)installing styles: http://www.zotero.org/support/styles#zotero_style_repository To reset styles, go to the Advanced tab of the Zotero preferences, and click the "Reset Translators and Styles..." button: http…

@adamsmith, do you know why Vancouver uses lowercase creator labels? This seems unnecessary, and creates a problem for German as discussed above. @lislkaminarizoku, these issues can be fixed, but we need to create a separate style for German since …

CSL really isn't designed to code export formats. What kind of workflow are you looking for? Zotero already has good RIS export options.
-
Uhh, I figured it might be hard to render. Maybe I spend too much time in plain text editors.
-
If these shortcuts and/or context menu options are implemented, will their use still insert the HTML-like tags around the selected text (as long as the field is active)? Or will you directly show the formatted text (which might be hard to do in the …

There are several other links on that page that need to be redirected as well: http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/documentation#moving_and_deleting_pages

What does the error say, exactly?

There isn't a file called "Library": your Zotero database is stored in the Zotero folder in a file named "zotero.sqlite", along with some folders storing things like file attachments (like PDFs). See http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data#element…

There is more variation in shortcuts for superscript/subscript, but I don't see why we couldn't adopt the shortcuts from another program. E.g. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/word-help/make-text-superscript-or-subscript-HP005189455.aspx Superscr…

Or perhaps allow shortcuts (like ctrl/command-b for bold) to be used when text is selected in the title field.

Like ajlyon, I think some indication of the number of errors per translator would be very useful. And could the list be expanded to show more than the top 10 translators (say the top 50)? Also, would it be possible to create somewhat comprehensive …

Yes, but I would argue that non-detecting translators are less frustrating to users.

With regard to broken translators, do the Zotero clients phone home any details on save failures? (there is a preference checkbox "Report broken site translators" which suggests they do) I don't mind fixing up a few more translators, but it would …

Done, thanks!

Could you make sure that your style validates? https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/wiki/Validation For one, you need to escape the ampersand in one of the links: http://validator.nu/?doc=https://raw.github.com/gist/1373852/7007fc82e8d…

It's not a bug: "Affixes are generally insensitive to the formatting attributes acting on the calling element: the only exception to this rule are affixes set on cs:layout." http://citationstyles.org/downloads/specification.html#formatting
