Previews can take a few hours to appear. Nothing to worry about.

Committed, thanks! https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/commit/3c04b3e250b3b811f5476edd964a0ead5d4b5979#diff-2

Are there any styles we are aware of that require the following? DECKELBAUM, R.J. et C.L. WILLIAMS If we come to the conclusion that we always need the name delimiter after a flipped name, we don't need a toggle.
-
My guess would be that this is because of how tabs have been set up in the word processor ("10." is a bit wider than "9."). Are you using Word?
-
I fixed up a few styles that suffered from this bug: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/commit/390bd1e87e598acca29a372b22b46738ae2da56d

@fbennett, I know you've been trying to eliminate white-space from affixes, but in this case, wouldn't the following be a more logical solution?
-
@BarilG, do you know if there are styles that abbreviate long name lists and use a similar punctuation rule? I wonder if we also need: "J. Doe, et al." "J. Doe, S. Smith et al." I checked ENAP ("Watson, T.J., et autres") and Office québécois de la…

Proposed text for the top of the Style Repository page: Find Citation Style Language (CSL) 1.0 styles for Zotero and other CSL 1.0–compatible clients. For more information on installing and using these styles, see the Zotero wiki. CSL 0.8.1 styles …

@Dan Stillman, would it make sense to only show the "install" links when visiting the Zotero Style Repository with Firefox and Zotero for Firefox is installed? Apparently it's not too difficult to detect Firefox add-ons: http://webdevwonders.com/det…

I think you're reading too much in that comment. It doesn't seem like anything Zotero-specific has been announced. See also http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=203&t=100759#p216594

Are you by any chance saving the CSL style into the "styles" folder of the Zotero data directory? In that case, see http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/22857/style-request-for-nemoonline/?Focus=123582#Comment_123582

@Gracile, yes, sorry for being sloppy. The current case would need extension of "delimiter-precedes-last", not "delimiter-precedes-et-al".
-
The next version of CSL will introduce the "delimiter-precedes-et-al" attribute, which makes it possible to either a) always include a comma before "et", b) never include this comma, or c) only include the comma when there are three or more authors …

Can we link to an official EU webpage? (e.g. http://publications.europa.eu/code/en/en-000500.htm ) Also, the current name "European Union Format" is a bit vague. It would be nice if we could come up with something more precise. Would "European Unio…

@aurimas, what exactly are we discussing here? Whether --- - "capitalize-first": capitalizes the first character (other characters remain in their original case) - "capitalize-all": capitalizes the first character of every word (other characters re…

It might be worth considering this in a somewhat broader scope. There are several other "recommended practices" when it comes to storing metadata in Zotero for use with CSL styles, such as storing journal abbreviations with periods instead of withou…
-
This problem could also be solved by excluding terms that typically are used independent of any variable content from group-suppression, such as "anonymous", "forthcoming", "ibid", "in press", "internet", "interview", "letter", "no date", and "onlin…
-
Also, just to make sure: which version of Zotero are you using? 3.0.7?
-
I'm pretty sure we discussed this already a while back. I could try looking it up [edit: I found a private email exchange between Frank and me of 2011-05-12 where we agreed to the following text], but see e.g. the current description in the CSL spec…

ImageShack.us required me to register when I recently used it, which was a bit of a hassle. Maybe we should recommend using http://minus.com/ or http://imgur.com/ instead?

Pasted here: https://gist.github.com/2875380 (note that this version will replace the IEEE style, is still written in CSL 0.8.1, and has one validation error: http://validator.nu/?doc=https://raw.github.com/gist/2875380/b06a4346fd96da256b79df65d8da…

Added with minor changes to the style metadata. Thanks! https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/commit/c17157705f96bdb28219843b4dfaec30fdc3fc5b

we need a an option to create versions with and without full stops, depending on citation format. You can change the CSL style to strip the periods from the journal abbreviations. See http://citationstyles.org/downloads/specification.html#strip-peri…

@uku, can you right-click the title bar ("Manage Ab...") and select either "Size" (and change the window size with the arrow keys) or "Maximize"?
-
That style looks okay. What kind of error do you see when you try installing it? Did you save it as a plain text file with a ".csl" extension?
-
Paste the style code at https://gist.github.com/ , make a public gist and give us the link, and we'll take a look.

You can try this version: https://raw.github.com/citation-style-language/styles/b0256fd097a6a6561a601c6018574817c224dd88/chicago-fullnote-bibliography-no-ibid.csl If you do, of course first make a backup of your thesis. (the last version of Chicag…

You can reset the installed CSL styles from the Zotero preferences, maybe that will fix things (you'll have to reinstall the style after doing that): http://www.zotero.org/support/preferences/advanced

I changed the JAAD style to use the "Vancouver with Superscript" style format instead of that of the regular "Vancouver" style ( https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/commit/e035e51e3534eb42e18121d55d85004598f8d5d5 ), so reinstalling the…
