Hmm, the instructions for Angewandte Chemie give the following example, where bibliographic entry no. 2 doesn't contain any letters: Examples: [1] a) H. J. Ache, Angew. Chem. 1989, 101, 1–21; Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. Engl. 1989, 28, 1–20; b) H. Frey, …
-
@Breath, you explained above that the two articles referenced in 76(a) are two translations of the same manuscript, published by Angewandte Chemie (German) and Angewandte Chemie International Edition (English). Do you know of any other cases where …

By the way, we already have a ticket for this in the CSL schema tracker: https://github.com/citation-style-language/schema/issues/36

Have you ever come across styles that use anything other than alphabetical letters to indicate the different items within a group (e.g., "a" in "4a")?
-
@Breath, you could help us, actually (without paying). In order to add support for this feature in CSL, we need a very clear understanding of how these styles work. Do you know if there is any variation in how the different chemistry journals form …

You probably didn't check the "Be lax about HTTP Content-Type" checkbox.

Added, thanks. https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/commit/97c814050ed693b0123f3da7e1256e37e14ba425

I updated the style to CSL 1.0 and added it to the style repository: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/commit/644294e662b72103d840caa7f95898d324e80552

Try installing https://raw.github.com/gist/3144747/ee1579397a6355770c7c802903c54550aab999a6/ethnogoe.csl It's still CSL 0.8.1, but should work with Zotero.

I don't have time to troubleshoot you entirely through this, but unless you've manually deleted your Zotero profile directory you're likely to be fine. Before you try anything, though, it would be a very good idea to make a backup of your hard …

@fbennett, are you looking for a list of district courts? Those seem relatively easily accessible via http://www.uscourts.gov/Court_Locator/CourtLocatorSearch.aspx by just searching by "Court Type".

No profanity, please. Could you elaborate on "needs something like a zotero-validation"? Do you get an error message when you try to install the modified style? If you copy and paste your style at https://gist.github.com/ and send us the link w…

What kind of files are we talking about? PDFs?

@adamsmith, that would give you the note number, but not the page on which that note resides.

Maybe this works? 1) Insert the Zotero bibliography 2) (optional) use the "Zotero Remove Codes" button [Warning: make sure you do this in a copy of your original document] 3) Cut and paste the bibliography into a different document 4) Ind…

Your question has nothing to do with Zotero, so this isn't the place to ask.

Did you happen to create this style with http://steveridout.com/csl/home/ ?

I just checked the Guide for Authors from EMBO Reports, and it seems like they require an author-date style, while the Nature and Vancouver styles are both numeric. See http://www.nature.com/embor/pdfs/GUIDE_FOR_AUTHORS_SCIENTIFIC_REPORT.pdf (page 1…

You have one greater-than character (>) too many in your style: http://validator.nu/?doc=https%3A%2F%2Fraw.github.com%2Fgist%2F3078208%2F34912b66e18af24d17614d0e717ffb7d9bc85f68%2Fgistfile1.txt&schema=https%3A%2F%2Fgithub.com%2Fcitation-style…

adamsmith made some corrections, and the version in the style repository validates: http://validator.nu/?doc=https%3A%2F%2Fraw.github.com%2Fcitation-style-language%2Fstyles%2Fmaster%2Fclio-medica.csl&schema=https%3A%2F%2Fgithub.com%2Fcitation-st…

I was wondering about that. :)

@Prescott.Bush, adamsmith is a Zotero user who works on translators in his spare time, for free. I suggest you ask a little nicer.
-
@adamsmith, I don't think you pushed the style.

That should be CSL 1.0.1 instead of 1.1. There is one thing holding back a release, which is the ongoing discussion on supporting ordinals in other languages. I hope we can wrap that up in a few weeks.
