@cmbarton, could you take a look? @antiquitas, could you correct a few errors in your version of the style? You included a few comments as "/* ... */", but XML comments use a different syntax: "". edit: thanks, now it validates.

Yeah, a conditional would probably be the way to go. With CSL 1.0.1 (where the cs:name element is optional), and by using inheritable name options ( http://citationstyles.org/downloads/specification.html#inheritable-name-options ), this could be as …

What's the problem, exactly? (my French is poor, so an explanation in English would help)
-
1) your style contains some errors, which might give problems. See http://validator.nu/?doc=http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=7n265frv&schema=https://github.com/citation-style-language/schema/raw/v1.0.1/csl.rnc&parser=xml&laxtype=yes 2) sin…

Post your style online, e.g. at https://gist.github.com/, and we'll take a look. (you might be able to solve this by adding demote-non-dropping-particle="never" to the style element; see http://citationstyles.org/downloads/specification.html#name-pa…

Did you empty the trash?

You want to search for "Item Type", not "Type".

@adamsmith: Dan recently mentioned that the Zotero Style Repository now lists the git commit time. See https://groups.google.com/d/msg/zotero-dev/LLg_oiRxS0s/3reotW0GB3EJ @robertknight: there is a long discussion on xbiblio-devel about automaticall…

One workaround would be to change the title from "The Coventry blitz 'conspiracy'" to "Coventry blitz 'conspiracy', The" Not sure whether that cure is worse than the disease, though.

perhaps my english is not good enough What's your native language? If you feel you're being held back by your limited command of English, know that we can support users in quite a broad range of languages, including French, German, Spanish, and Dutc…

"publisher-place" is a single field variable, and its content isn't parsed. The easiest way to get this right would be to include the semicolon in your Zotero library item metadata.

Instructions: http://www.zotero.org/support/reporting_bugs#provide_a_report_id

@Simon might be better qualified to help you from this point onward. In the meantime, try to retrigger the error, get a Report ID, and post the ID number in this thread.

It seems like the "OLE Registration Database" file (which should have exactly that name) can exists in multiple places. See the instructions at https://www.dessci.com/en/support/mathtype/tsn/tsn140.htm

These forums are for discussing Zotero. Unless your question relates to Zotero in some way, this really isn't the right place to ask for help.

You might want to check out Docear: http://www.docear.org/ . I haven't used it, but it has some mindmapping features.

Seems related to http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/8455/vista-64bit-pdfinfo-error/

My main concern is that users already have a lot of options when it comes to picking a CMoS variant, which might be intimidating/confusing. Renaming the style would definitely help with that.

except the dated note style, which I don't really know what it is @adamsmith, see http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/8345/new-cms-fork-dated-note-with-biblio-no-ibid/ We could contact turkeyphant to ask if anyone requires this style. If not, it's …

http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/1922/importing-my-google-reader-starred-items-atom-format/ seems relevant.

You can look at the translator results for http://www.freepatentsonline.com/WO2010111344A3.html (same patent). I almost never cite patents, but I'd like to store at least the patent title, inventors, issue date, patent number ("DC.identifier") and …

@jacobreed, isn't that what the "Journal Abbr" field is for?
-
CSL 1.0.1 introduced a "citation-title-short" variable: http://citationstyles.org/downloads/release-notes-csl101.html#new-variables-container-title-short-and-title-short It hasn't yet been mapped to a field in Zotero, though.

@mmoran, the ASCE style should now be fixed. For posterity, the APA and ASCE changes were: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/commit/3c62f6d61824e6fcfa12b2854c8d19f981b1abd0 https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/commit/6b…
