Try this: https://raw.github.com/gist/4026297/845c18729f49decb3b4862b659dc6dd84b8d886e/de-buck.csl Deleting the entire "en" cs:locale section (which is what I did in the version linked to above), or moving it to follow the "nl" cs:locale section, s…

The style should use "aldaar" if references are rendered in Dutch, so there might be a problem with your Zotero language settings. See http://www.zotero.org/support/supported_languages#citations_and_bibliographies (the locale code for Dutch is "nl-N…

@andreyshevchuk, there is an email address at the bottom of the blog post at http://www.zotero.org/blog/zotero-workshops/ .

I have a potential fix: https://github.com/zotero/translators/pull/486
-
@eurojojo: you can toggle the behavior in the Zotero Preferences. See the description of the "Include URLs of paper articles in references" checkbox at http://www.zotero.org/support/preferences/cite .

The editor of Journal of Clinical Microbiology told me that all 2012 issues are closed, and that the new citation style should be used from now on. I assume the same holds for the other ASM journals. The CSL style has been updated to reflect the ch…

Committed, thanks! https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/commit/571b91ed536295c18cf6e53d9731a701db7c4090 (see also https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/259 )

Set the value of the "Language" field of the item to "la" (to indicate Latin). Items for which the Language field value starts with anything other than "en" are exempt from title casing.

@adamsmith, that link should be to http://citationstylist.org/, not http://citationstyles.org/.

Maybe this thread is relevant?: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/20768/ibid-capitalized/?Focus=111543#Comment_111543 It seems to suggest that note citations should indeed start with a capital letter: "If ibid is used in a style without any text…

By the way, I can't reproduce the period-less "H" in Yabe, H, Winkler, I., Czigler, I., Koyama, S., Kakigi, R., Sutoh, T., Hiruma, T., et al. (2001). Organizing sound sequences in the human brain: the interplay of auditory streaming and temporal in…

Which one of the various Chicago styles are you using? You might be able to solve this by setting the "text-case" attribute to "capitalize-first" on the relevant cs:name-part element.

Cool! Any plans to put the source code under version control on a site like GitHub.com?

Did you read http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data#backing_up_your_zotero_library ? You're in the right folder. The easiest way to back up your Zotero data (apart from backing up your entire hard drive) is to make a copy of this entire folder, …

Added, thanks! https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/commit/3f84321cdd88917800f6994f5386a3f60a4dd5a5

What version of Zotero are you using?
-
Not sure.
-
Ah, right. Sorry, misread the earlier post.
-
You can just set the small-caps on the parent cs:names element, no?

This works for me when I try to reproduce this with Zotero Standalone 3.0.8. Titles, as well as authors in single-field mode, are sorted case insensitive. I suggest you try Mendeley support.

Yes. In the example above, we get "H" instead of "H." because of (failing) name disambiguation, right? (with the failure originating from the metadata, which only has the initial instead of the full given name, and the CSL processor, which assumes t…

Yabe, H, Winkler, I., Czigler, I., Koyama, S., Kakigi, R., Sutoh, T., Hiruma, T., et al. Would it be acceptable for the CSL processor to check whether the full given name is identical to its initialized form (H == H), and treat the full given name a…

That tool seems to be broken at the moment (I submitted a bug report). You can either wait until it's fixed, find yourself another XSLT conversion tool, or make modifications to the version that is in the CSL style repository (which has already been…

I asked the production editor when manuscripts submitted to AEM should start following the new style. Will report here when she responds.

For now I only renamed the style: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/commit/172b8c0df1e0f77e0178aca0ad8f261a06fa9476 Note that the style you submitted above is CSL 0.8.1, and we currently only accept CSL 1.0.1 styles in the repositor…

We can easily add dependent CSL styles for all the journals published by the Polish Botanical Society as long as they all share the same citation format. All we need are the journals titles and ISSNs (print and/or online ISSN). See http://citationst…

Under what conditions do months in Greek appear in nominative, and when do they appear in genitive case?

@fbennett, the CSL specification contains the following language on AD/BC: The "ad" term (Anno Domini) is automatically appended to positive years of less than four digits (e.g. "79" becomes "79AD"). The "bc" term (Before Christ) is automatically …

@adamsmith, does CMoS discuss title casing? The CSL spec lists the words that shouldn't be title cased ( http://citationstyles.org/downloads/specification.html#title-case-conversion ), and I'm wondering if a single custom list would suffice to set b…
