Also, I'm not totally sure the logic for cites ("By default the year-suffix is appended to the cite,") makes the most sense. Wouldn't it be preferably to: 1) place the year-suffix after the first year in the cite, as is done for cs:bibliography…

I've looked into this a little further. The CSL spec currently dictates: "By default the year-suffix is appended to the cite, and to the first year rendered through cs:date in the bibliographic entry, but its location can be controlled by explicitly…

Actually, your newest version contains two errors. In the bibliography, you introduced a call to the "editor-short" macro, which doesn't exist, and you declared the "collection-title" macro twice.

Done, thanks! https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/commit/67a1061530730cc01745d48723761f02335a70c6

@adamsmith: it might be possible to change the logic in citeproc-js to always append the year-suffix after the year in dates, so we can use a single cs:date element. Do you know of any exceptions? (e.g., cases where you need "2002-10-30a" instead of…

Done and thanks for reporting.

Dan is right, but one more option: 4) Have each student have its own copy of Portable Firefox (on flash drive or network drive) with Zotero for Firefox installed.

Both of these issues could be relatively easily solved by creating a custom Dutch version of APA. When we rely on the automatic style localization of the default (English) APA style, things get slightly trickier: * the term "retrieved" is sometimes…

Should be fixed now when you update the style from the style repository.
-
@adamsmith, should we delete the OSCOLA styles from the repo?
-
@adamsmith: let me know if you'd like a new citation-style-language GitHub repo (e.g. "abbreviations"). edit 2013-03-06: there is now https://github.com/citation-style-language/abbreviations (for now without content, though)

Did you check your database integrity (see http://www.zotero.org/support/preferences/advanced)? Do you happen to have a lot of items in the Zotero trash? Also, I guess Ubuntu 10.04 is getting a bit long in the tooth, so you might want to upgrade to …
-
@Dan Stillman: considering the delays of getting Zotero releases onto the Mozilla website, wouldn't it be better to solely rely on zotero.org for distribution?
-
Camino is another reasonably up-to-date browser that still works on G4 PPC systems, and you might be able to use it with the Zotero Bookmarklet. http://caminobrowser.org/ http://www.zotero.org/downloadbookmarklet

Can you update Firefox and Zotero to their latest versions?
-
Most of the documentation is (still) specific to the local Zotero clients.
-
You can click on an item, click the "Edit" button, and then, at the bottom of the page, click the "Add Note" button.
-
In that case, follow the instructions for Zotero Standalone at http://www.zotero.org/support/supported_languages#switching_languages .

The best way to ask for help with the editor is either to use the feedback button at http://editor.citationstyles.org/about/ (for specific questions), or contact Mendeley support (the editor is a Mendeley project).

Done: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/commit/42778f3744e95ffb3d4adbfdc4fb607ad577b953 Note that for future edits, it's easier for us if you create pull requests. That's not too difficult, see https://github.com/citation-style-lang…

I don't see how that could hurt. (it needs to be documented in the CSL spec, though)

Ticket created for the filing date: https://github.com/ajlyon/zotero-bits/issues/53

I remember looking into localizing date formats in APA, but there was a problem with disambiguation. Because the year-suffix needs to be appended after the year (e.g. "2002a, November 3"), the date is broken up in two cs:date elements, with a cs:tex…

From what I've understood, Zotero has never upgraded styles from existing profiles (even carrying over CSL 0.8.1 styles which are in-memory converted to CSL 1.0). (new versions of Zotero do ship with more or less up-to-date styles, see https://githu…

Other than manually copy and pasting bibliographic entries, no, there isn't really a way to do what you want. Obviously, the best way would be to correct the style.
-
What's wrong about it?
-
(@adamsmith: the "s" before "section167" in the APA example looks like a page label, suggesting "section" isn't introduced via a locator)
-
Are you sure "section" isn't included in "Pages" field in your Zotero library? Does "section" show for any other items?
