Using https://raw.github.com/citation-style-language/styles/master/unified-style-linguistics.csl, I get Reisman, Karl. 1974. Contrapuntal conversations in an Antiguan village. In Richard Bauman & Joel Sherzer (eds.), Explorations in the Ethnogr…

Could you post the Zotero RDF for those items somewhere? I couldn't easily reproduce this.
-
If you do get a pre-print PDF so that a citation would have to include a URL, is it appropriate to use the publisher's URL? Honestly, I think dx.doi.org urls (which we can construct) should be used in citations, but I'm not a very big expert on wha…

(alternatively, the PMID field could be made clickable once it is introduced)

While I understand the rationale behind avoiding the URL field, I think the link-attachments are rather clunky. Since each item already has some non-citable metadata in the Info column (Date Added and Modified), maybe it would be more elegant to in…

It might make sense to map the priority date to the CSL date variable "original-date".

You're welcome.

Should be fixed now: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/commit/8c2d3f2790d6f9ec4db5228772177be47622ec90 Will show up in the Zotero Style Repository in 30 min or thereabouts.

@svrw0405, can you provide an example of a patent citation that includes the priority date of the patent family? To add a field to Zotero, we need to be convinced that it is valuable metadata. To add a mapping of that Zotero field to a CSL variable…

What operating system? Are you using Zotero for Firefox (if so, which version of Firefox are you using) or Zotero Standalone?
-
(We need a KB article for this that we can link to.) Done, see http://www.zotero.org/support/kb/sentence_casing
-
It's described at http://citationstyles.org/downloads/specification.html#locale and would like this: https://gist.github.com/4176167
-
@Andrey, any chance you'll have time to look at the GOST styles in the near future? (I'm still wondering about my questions in my post above)
-
Is there any variation between styles in how journal titles should be rendered? Title casing probably shouldn't be used in styles if it's just to fix up bad data (e.g. journal titles imported in lower case).
-
Are you validating your styles against the CSL 1.0 schema? That would explain the error. (the "license" attribute was introduced in CSL 1.0.1, and we currently validate styles against that schema)
-
Deleting items should give a prompt in both Zotero for Firefox and Zotero Standalone. But your colleague might have been removing the entry from a collection instead, which doesn't give a prompt. See http://www.zotero.org/support/collections_and_tag…

There is an XML comment that isn't closed. (there is a " "; search for "MAKROS" and you'll find it) Validation results: http://validator.nu/?doc=https://raw.github.com/gist/4169325/006d38ebb2f64fa20bac9faac5b09665960e2913/try&schema=https://git…

I added your Croatian CSL locale to the CSL locales repository, but this file won't appear in Zotero until the next Zotero update. In the meantime, you should be able to include the entire Croatian locale data within your style of interest. An exam…

This should be fixed with https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/commit/88661789c1878bc01263445fbe888b1807a73600 . The updated version should be available from http://zotero.org/styles in 30 minutes or so.

Some comments on the new downloads page: - the screenshots are tiny. Maybe you could offer click-to-zoom versions? (like http://fancyapps.com/fancybox/#examples ) - "Zotero for Firefox lets you capture and organize all your research without ever le…

That link doesn't work for me (time out).

http://drupal.org/node/1661390#comment-6165976 Edit: that leads to a 404, sorry about that. Working links can be found at http://archive.endnote.com/support/ensupport.asp, see "EndNote / EndNote Web XML DTD".

Where are you looking, and how? It shows up for me at http://www.zotero.org/styles if I search for "elsevier".
-
http://www.zotero.org/styles/elsevier-with-titles ("Elsevier (with titles)") is a numeric style. Maybe you installed http://www.zotero.org/styles/elsevier-harvard ("Elsevier's Harvard Style (with titles) "), which is an author-date style?
-
Scirus.com seems to do some full-text indexing, but its search results seem to be rather poor in metadata. (it's Elsevier owned)
-
Microsoft Academic Search has an API: http://academic.research.microsoft.com/about/Microsoft Academic Search API User Manual.pdf I think Google Scholar used to be preferred because it was more comprehensive, but maybe things have changed?
-
Your style at https://gist.github.com/4109885 doesn't have a default-locale attribute on the root cs:style element, which is how the "CSL-Language" is set. How did you set the locale of the style?
-
I moved the XML comment a little, which should solve the problem. The original location is correct XML, but apparently Zotero can't handle that.
-
What kind of error does the original style give you? Are you using Zotero or Mendeley?
