Devin Roza, should this style default to using US English as the locale?
-
@zaz: if you'd like, I can add you to Dutch translator team of Zotero. You just need to register at http://transifex.com and post your username here. See also http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/localization
-
See also http://www.zotero.org/support/kb/rich_text_bibliography Just to make sure: you're adding these tags in your Zotero library, right?
-
Also, if the idea is considered to separate the Info tab into two categories, used and empty fields, it might make more sense to assign each field to one or the other category on a library-wide basis, instead of a per-item basis. I never use fields…

I played around a little more with Gabriel's mockup: http://i.imgur.com/ltPSJlP.png (my version on the left) I find the current Info tab visually rather unappealing. My mockup adds a summary tab. This gives us the freedom to omit labels and certai…

If I'm correct, CSL styles without a "default-locale" attribute on the "style" element (like apa.csl) should automatically localize according to the locale set for Zotero. See http://www.zotero.org/support/supported_languages If your copy of Zotero…

I have that preference disabled as well. The display shows the snapshot title grayed out, but it would probably be better to hide it altogether when the user doesn't wish to save snapshots.

@mderntl, what did you need the sorted LNCS for? I can't find any requirements on sorting at http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs?SGWID=0-164-6-793341-0
-
Ah, right. Dutch has many, many different particles, though.
-
What kind of "page numbers" are you referring to, exactly? In Zotero, page information exists in various types, e.g. the total number of pages of an entire work (this book has 125 pages), and the pages that point to the cited subpart of a larger wo…

This seems like an extremely hacky and unreliable solution though. E.g., what about cases like: "Herman De Vries, les livres et les publications" http://www.worldcat.org/title/herman-de-vries-les-livres-et-les-publications-catalogue-raisonne-exposi…

Marcelo, I'm wondering if the IICA-CATIE CSL style should have a default locale. It's predominantly a Spanish style, right?
-
Cornelius, do you know if the GBFE reference style is described online?

I deleted gost-r-7-0-5-2008.csl from the repository and renamed gost-r-7-0-5-2008-csl-1-0.csl to take its place: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/commit/8517b0e950f152d1fdd6157dfbe07d90ae0e48a7

The GitHub folks already opened an internal issue and were looking into the 404 problem (I pointed them to this thread as well). In the meantime, you can follow option C from https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING…
-
@terber, you tried using the Edit button at https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/harvard-durham-university-business-school.csl ?
-
Can you upload one of your personalized CSL styles to gist.github.com and share the URL with us? See option (C) at https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md for details.

Zotero currently doesn't have an item type for storing the metadata of an entire publication series (e.g. a journal), while ISBN, DOI, and PMID (often) cleanly map to "Book" and "Journal Article".
-
Dan, Simon, would it make sense to remove all code (and documentation, e.g. at http://www.zotero.org/support/preferences/styles) related to importing .ens files from Zotero? The feature doesn't seem to work well and can probably be dropped.
-
It sounds like these files are part of webpages saved in Zotero (see http://www.zotero.org/support/getting_stuff_into_your_library#saving_web_pages ). Could that be the case? Saving webpage snapshots will store files like gifs and .js files onto you…

The Estonian CSL locale that ships with Zotero hasn't seen any translation updates for the past few years, so please feel free to take a look whether any translations can be improved. See https://github.com/citation-style-language/locales/blob/mas…

The indicator shows you whether you have a file locally or not. Would it be possible to add a tooltip to the indicator to explain this?
-
Would it make sense to update the error message to say "is not valid CSL 1.0.1", since that's the current CSL version? (it looks like 4.0b1 uses the older version of the CSL validator that checks against the 1.0 schema)

If there is no "zotero.sqlite" file in the old folder you indeed lost your data (unless you have a backup somewhere else).
-
I should have clarified that the "zotero.sqlite" should be in the "zotero" subfolder of the profile folder. Also, are you sure the "old folder" is the old folder? How did you determine this?
-
You're probably looking at your current profile then, not the old one. Are there multiple folders in "...\Firefox\Profiles\"?
-
I can duplicate that.
-
Does the "zotero.sqlite" file in the old folder have a modified date that is about a week ago? (of when you last used Zotero with your old profile)
-
There is an old folder, but for some reason it only has two of the articles in there. How exactly did you determine that there were only two articles? Do you mean PDFs for two of the articles? Item metadata is all stored in a single database file, …
