@Joel, sure. Just follow the instructions above, and I'll add you as a translator.

That documentation is specific to the Zotero clients. johnsheffernan might be asking about the web interface of the online Zotero library.
-
Ah, okay. So treating it as a regular term would give problems, since it's absent from the locale files. We probably should add it there, then.
-
@fbennett, in my reading of the CSL 1.0.1 schema, it's already allowed to specify 、 , right?

Done: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/commit/61f3b3a9ab54786a1f0b8f0721ebba1e7644f9c3

I'll leave the " L' " out, then. Thanks. While we have an automated check against duplicated style titles, we don't actively test for duplicated short titles. Their main use is to help users who search by abbreviation: once these styles have been r…

I would like to change the style titles and IDs of the Tapuscrit styles somewhat for more consistency with the rest of the style repository. In particular, I strongly prefer full names over abbreviations in the cs:title element, and English descript…

@TTLP, any particular reason for including [3] Endnote's bibliographic formatting in your proposed workflow? What's wrong with Zotero's bibliographic output?
-
I didn't mean to attack you, and I probably misread you. But as the others say, without a comprehensive database of which journals use or don't use continuous page numbering, this won't change in our primary APA style. An incomplete reference is a …

@drwecki, first, no need to feel fancy about your titles on these forums. Almost everybody here has an academic background, too, and many are PhDs. Second, also no need to stress the benefit for Zotero's market share. Most of the time, the best way…

Simon is probably just monkeying around.
-
You should be able to do this yourself via https://www.zotero.org/settings/deleteaccount .
-
Yes, if it was a citeproc-js error the output would have included the word "blob" somewhere :).
-
Steve Ridout recently updated the citeproc-js version of the editor, though. But I haven't heard of this particular regression.
-
I figured it couldn't hurt asking on the EndNote forums if there are any plans to advance the RIS standard and support collections. See http://community.thomsonreuters.com/t5/EndNote-Product-Suggestions/Update-RIS-format-to-support-groups/td-p/46987

If you don't wish to sync your files via Zotero, but only your item metadata, just disable File Syncing in the Zotero Preferences. See http://www.zotero.org/support/preferences/sync

@fbennett/@adamsmith, is this worth further troubleshooting?
-
I'm more curious about the version that didn't work in the old document.
-
@cw1987, could you check if the problematic style works in a new word processor document? It would be nice if we could figure out what causes the problem with it.
-
Can you try https://gist.github.com/rmzelle/6585595/raw/1c93342ce6cb9dc64467255f580298a97189aa2a/foerster-geisteswissenschaft-2013-08-28.csl ? It's the version from August 28, with a changed ID and title.

You will typically lose collections on export--> import, though, unless you export them one-by-one. Is there really no way in either RIS or BibTeX to encode that an item belongs to one or more hierarchical collections? Since most modern reference…
-
(the problem is the period at the end of the sentence; the forum software isn't smart enough to recognize that it shouldn't be part of the URL) If you're lucky @adamsmith will pick this up soonish.
-
Can you give us a few links to either the ACS or EPA author-date style guides?
-
@rwielage, see http://www.zotero.org/support/forum_guidelines#etiquette (especially "AVOID ALL-CAPS"). Zotero's automatic title abbreviation should be better documented, though.
-
Does APA give specific guidance on this? Just because it sounds awkward doesn't necessarily mean that it's not correct APA style :).
-
I came across https://github.com/mduvall/grande.js today. Perhaps something like this can be used to add rich text markup editing to the info pane?
-
I guess I have to wait for the pull request to be accepted before I can upload any modification, is that correct? No. For the full answer, see https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/680#issuecomment-23562190
-
That was easy :). You're welcome!
-
You can find additional styles at http://www.zotero.org/styles . Note that there is no single official Harvard style (the term "Harvard" just means that citations are in the author-date format, such as "(Doe et al. 2000)").
-
This is planned (https://github.com/ajlyon/zotero-bits/issues/16), but won't be implemented soon.
