So now my main request is to fix the code and blockquote blocks in old posts Looks like this got fixed. Thanks!

Planned, but it's unclear when this will be implemented (see https://github.com/avram/zotero-bits/issues/1)

Great, thanks, that fixes the edit issue for me. So now my main request is to fix the code and blockquote blocks in old posts (such as the first post of https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/62288/citeproc-js-bug). Editing the old post and clicking …

I now get a gear icon when I hover over the comment above (but not any of my older comments), and clicking it says "Edit (1 hour)", suggesting that the change wasn't retroactive and/or editing is still limited to a certain time.
-
I've changed it to always allow editing. I still don't see any way to edit old posts. Is each post written by me supposed to show a gear icon?
-
Only allows editing posts for a certain time. Can this be changed? I sometimes used the edit button to correct old posts, or to copy/paste the raw post text (especially handy if the post contained quotes or blockquotes). (right now, I was trying to…

Also, it would be useful if there was a link to a page to describe the features of this forum. In particular the code and quote tags, but explaining how to use gist.github.com for posting large code blocks, a link to the forum etiquette (https://www…

@bwiernik, maybe you could change the title of this thread to e.g. "Zotero forums update"? As I already noted on zotero-dev, I'm curious whether the new version allows for search-by-author at https://forums.zotero.org/search. It used to be that pre…

Ah. Doesn't that affect a large number of styles? Does it go wrong whenever there is a delimiter of cs:layout?
-
Yes, please.

The CSL item type for book chapters is "chapter". Try (and @adamsmith probably meant to write "You should fix all validation issues") In general, use http://validator.citationstyles.or…
-
Although type="book book chapter" already clearly needs to be type="book chapter".
-
Can you copy/paste your modified version to https://gist.github.com/, create a public "gist", and give us the URL?
-
(IIRC, the next version of Zotero will have more prominent warnings for failing syncs) Dan created a ticket for that, yes, based on a previous report (https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/57949/help-lost-threemonths-bibliography/?Focus=250563#Commen…

Looks like I'm the culprit for that one (https://github.com/zotero-manual/zotero-manual/commit/a0a5c41d61129b661bcd1453c18923219fd1c051). (maybe I was misled by the fact that the cursor changes when holding ctrl while dragging a collection?)

Thanks for reporting. We are aware of some typos that have already been fixed in the "master" branch, but haven't been backported yet to the "1.0.1" branch (the current stable version). I've been a bit busy, and I'm still not really sure about the …

Is there a default locale for "en"? Short answer: yes, "en-US". Long answer: There aren't any official rules for this as far as I know, but within CSL we use the "primary-dialect" listing as defined in https://github.com/citation-style-language/loc…
-
I'm pretty sure https://github.com/citation-style-language/utilities/blob/master/csl-reindenting-and-info-reordering.py will strip any extraneous whitespace, since it writes out parsed styles and doesn't update styles in-place. So (eventually) this …

correct locale code for Bahasa - Indonesia (sorry I do not know it) That would be "id-ID". See https://github.com/citation-style-language/locales/blob/020712589f08bd74adf53c99f808fbbefebd463f/locales.json#L149

Works for me (I just sent you a test message).

You're doing a great job getting yourself banned: https://www.zotero.org/support/forum_guidelines#etiquette

It updates styles installed from the Zotero styles page ... Styles installed from elsewhere aren't currently updated automatically. Dan, the way you wrote this suggests that updating is dependent on how a style was installed. But whether styles are …

And coming back to your original question: yes, it's possible to create a custom style that uses single quotation marks instead of double ones for Dutch. You would have to redefine the quotation mark terms, e.g. by adding the following code block to…
-
Can you fix the second link? The han.nl link seems to use double quotes, though, e.g.: ("Sociale media", 2014). (at http://specials.han.nl/themasites/studiecentra/verwerken-en-delen/bronnen-vermelden/apa-normen/)
-
This however is old-fashioned. Do you know of any Dutch style guides that discuss whether single or double quotes should be used? If there is consensus that single quotes are more popular, we can change this for all Dutch styles. https://onzetaal.n…

I found a service that allows you to track specific files in GitHub repositories: http://github-file-watcher.com/ (you would give the repo address, "https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles", and the file name of the style you're intereste…

Looks like we need an "all-except-last"/"all-but-last" option. I think the format is rare, but coincidentally I learned last month that the African Journal of Food, Agriculture, Nutrition and Development uses the same format (http://www.ajfand.net/A…

@LiborA is right in the sense that Zotero's website doesn't work very well for discovering people that share a similar interest. And the Zotero forums are meant for product support, and shouldn't be used as a space to collaborate on research project…

Agree that capitalization would probably be good. Can't think of any false positives. (see also: http://english.stackexchange.com/questions/123999/capitalize-after-slash-at-beginning-e-g-risk-issue-management [Forum] Capitalization after a slash …
