There are already some ways to do this: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/3725/

Zotero: spread the wealth around.

Your style is finished (see the file repository). As the style guide wasn't very extensive, it currently only correctly supports journal articles, chapters and books.
-
A new style for Biochemistry has been uploaded to the style repository.
-
If you can connect USB drives and are allowed to run executables, you could also try Portable Firefox: http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable This would give you full access to your Zotero library.
-
PS: How do you get the dotted box around the quote? By using blockquote-tags, e.g. "some text".

I just added thesis formatting to the development version of Harvard format 1 according to the style guide (http://libweb.anglia.ac.uk/referencing/harvard.htm?harvard_id=49#49). You can install this style either via the style repository (http://www.…

Your request for a correct Biochemistry has been noted. If I find the time I will take a look at it myself (probably somewhere this week).
-
I can import the styles produced by endnote, but not those that I created myself. Could you give some more details? Are the styles you created yourself CSL styles? If they are CSL styles, did you make them with a text-editor or via a CSL generator (…

The current version of the Harvard style doesn't yet support styling of theses. If you feel comfortable editing XML-files, you could try to fix this yourself (http://dev.zotero.org/creating_citation_styles). Alternatively, you could wait for a fix t…

Not sure what you mean by SP3 (do you mean XP SP3? its installed) - I just did update the zotero sync to the latest version SP3.1 refers to the latest sync version, Zotero 1.5 Sync Preview 3.1.
-
Some additional information on the style installation error: After resetting the translators and styles, I tried the Biochemistry install link again under Firefox 3.0.3 under Windows XP and Zotero 1.5 Sync Preview 2.2. This gave the error: "http://…
-
I think it was supposed that all ACS publications shared the same citation format, but clearly that is not the case. Italic formatting of organism names is not yet supported. I tested the link under sync preview 2.2, and it did give an error on the…
-
The Biochemistry style is a so called dependent style, and has the same bibliography format as it's parent, the American Chemical Society style (Biochemistry is an ACS publication). Only Zotero 1.5 Sync Preview 2.2 or later support the installation …

any idea when this could be available for download?? Apparently very soon: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/4495/?Focus=19334#Comment_19334

That did the trick. I do find this option in Zotero a bit tricky though, as: a) this option (hiding the URL when the pages-field is filled) is currently active when unchecked. If the text of the option would be phrased in the negative, like "Hi…

http://www.zotero.org/documentation/frequently_asked_questions#how_do_i_uninstall_zotero "How do I uninstall Zotero? You can uninstall Zotero just like any other Firefox extension by going to the Firefox menu Tools→Add-ons→Extensions tab, selectin…

I uploaded a first draft of AJPA, which I based on the CSE style. As the style guide doesn't give many examples, and I don't have access to the journal's articles, the style still may contain some errors. There are also some things I couldn't get ri…

Working on a style for AJPA...

Does the problem also occur in new documents? P.S. I updated my previous post.
-
Perhaps the citations are formatted by a style selected in Word. If you place the cursor within a citation box, what text style does the formatting-toolbar indicate? If the style that is used differs from that of the rest of the text, open the style…

I can't reproduce this in Word 2007. Maybe you can try to select another style and then switch back to Analytica Chimica Acta. Does that change anything?
-
I fixed the spacing errors you listed for ASA and APSA (you can see the changes made here: https://www.zotero.org/trac/changeset/3586), but the style repository hasn't been updated yet.
-
Can you give some examples of styles that have these problems?
-
It's the American way of doing things: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/4140/?Focus=17935#Comment_17935 Support for British punctuation is apparently underway, but until then you can't have titles enclosed by quotes with the comma following the…

What library catalog are you using? Could you provide a link to a book in that catalog as an example?
-
At this point, there are now over 1000 styles, so any new style is likely to be either exactly like an existing one Please note that there are currently (only) 96 independent styles in the repository, and a little over a 1000 dependent styles, so th…

This doesn't seem a very reliable way to deduce status. What about an online and HTML-only article that will never have page numbers? They exist now, even if not terribly common. I see it as nothing more than a possible interim solution. Your sugges…

Have you tried disabling all other extensions? Could you also be a bit more specific? What versions of Zotero and Firefox are you using?

With conditionals styles can already be written so that journal articles for which the pages-field is empty are listed as "in press", although I don't think any of the current styles have this implemented. By the way, independently of how this issu…
