HI Adam, holy cow, that was a fun thread to be reminded of. However I've followed Dan's instructions to change the setting in about:config and all is good now. And yes I was using the Firefox version before.
-
same problem in windows 10 - and both times this is with a brand new document with one bibliography entry
-
updated to 149 and all good now, thanks
-
Ah, don't worry about it - I set it up so that my storage went through a link, and for some reason it had broken - will try and remember to check that if that problem reoccurs
-
@adamsmith thanks Adam, that was totally straightforward
-
in the pre-5 versions of Zotero, I could run two different Firefox profiles which would allow me to have two different Zotero libraries. Is there any equivalent way I could do that with the Standalone?
-
thanks Adam, should have checked the known issues, but good to know it's on the radar so to speak.
-
Hi Adam, I had three entries in connector preferences, none of which had the "Automatically convert hyphens to dots in proxied hostnames" checked. But that wasn't me gov. honest ! I've never looked at any of the Zotero Connector preferences stuff be…

The Debug ID is D1200598515. oops ignore that one - unless it was helpful connector debug id: The Debug ID is D913859493. connector Report ID:2058587368

HI Adam, thanks for the info; I'm using Zotero Connector 4.999.9 which is not handling the proxy properly.
-
Hi Dan, the Project Muse gave me the red X of death - that's why I tried using the Save to Zotero route
-
OK, my bad - set pdfinfo-Linux-x86_64 to executable too, and now all is good - and I almost certainly did change the settings when I was trying to reinstall them thinking that might fix the indexing problem before I saw this thread.
-
OK, also had to set pdfinfo.sh to run as executalbe new debug id is D2032030406. which looks like it should have worked only for some reason the status on indexed is set to "unknown"
-
Hi Dan, I'm still not able to index items. Just installed build 102, linux Mint 18. From a quick look at the debug lines, it looks like maybe this is the problem: "/home/jon/Zotero/pdftotext-Linux-x86_64 is not an executable" I will try setting t…

Hi Dan, installed the update and yes the Add/Edit window does now start/populate now, thanks. One other thing - not sure if you want me to start a new post or not, but, still using the classic citation window, if I add any text to either the prefix…
-
Thanks Dan - yes I am using the classic dialogue. Always found it quicker for my work flow than the alternative.
-
HI Dan, here you go: report ID is 909234494 The Debug ID is D78586720
-
sorry, Dan, I booted into Windows to see if it worked there (it does) then saw your message, rebooted into Linux and now it all seems to be fine, very odd, but I can guess we can close this.
-
thanks Dan, it auto-synced after installing r45 and restarting Firefox, assume it's fine unless I come back
-
Hi Adam, thanks for your reply. Hopefully this can go in as a feature request that isn't too difficult.
-
thanks Dan, r36 has fixed it.
-
Thanks Dan, r11 has just synced with no errors, thanks as ever for your great work.
-
Hi Dan, yes it was. Hope this catches it report id is 1871951325 The Debug ID is D991993979

The Debug ID is D1666942910

hmm, well I disabled noscirpt and the sync went through, but then I re-enabled it and it still went through, so, not too sure why the first one failed, but on the plus side, it seems to be working now.
-
Hi Dan, Yes, I have the same problem with the fields in the right-hand pane. Just pressing the ctrl button shuts them. But middle click, or right-click-paste, does paste no problem.
-
noksagt FTW ! middle click works I don't think this is a cinnamon thing per se. As I said, I can ctrl-v into the Zotero main search box. Also can't ctrl-v into any of the fields in the right hand pane But again, middle click works. Is…

Hi, I've been getting sync problems too. Windows 7, Firefox 46 report id : 426179202 The first time this happened, restarting Firefox helped, this time it didn't. Let me know if I can help more. I'll check on my linux mint install, see if t…
