Email sent to ascelibrary@asce.org. Thanks for looking into this. I noticed that the issue is (probably) limited to their Just Released items, and have mentioned that in my email.

Seems to work elsewhere: http://ascelibrary.org/doi/10.1061/%28ASCE%29TE.1943-5436.0000547 http://ascelibrary.org/doi/10.1061/%28ASCE%290733-9372%282003%29129%3A2%28162%29 So, I guess, no fix required?

Convert to PDF from inside Zotero? Otherwise, most browsers, and certainly Firefox too, have add-ons that will let you have web pages as PDF. I have the "Print Edit" addon in Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/print-edit/

Thanks, appreciate it!

My system upgraded to Firefox 43.0 and all unsigned add-ons were disabled. So far, I have not heard back from Chris on the prevent duplicates add-on. I have posted my request at github and the google group mentioned above. Ideas anyone? As…

"upcoming redesign of the web library" .... goosebumps ... :) Improving the already great Zotero group features will help us spread the good word.

Also read this: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/50369/attach-link-to-file-in-group-library/ I don't have the tech skills to implement this, but am willing to support in whatever way I can, such as testing, documentation or $ contribution. …

Wondering if this "recommended set up" is covered in Zotero Documentation? Readers may want to also check out: https://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data https://www.zotero.org/support/sync

@adamsmith, thanks and glad to know that.

@findhopefilms I am just another thankful Zotero user. And I was a graduate student until recently. Your title and the entire first paragraph comes across as harsh and sweeping generalizations of how disastrous Zotero is. Most of us disagree and s…

Done.

Ok, I left a comment here which might be awaiting moderation. I hope Chris sees it: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!msg/zotero-dev/yJLUTttGMXk/22i1GRuyQ7UJ I don't know how else to contact him.

I am on it! How do I contact Robin? I searched for the add-on name but can't find anything that leads me to author/owner. I found this: https://github.com/corajr/zotero-prevent-duplicates Is "Chris Johnson-Roberson" aka Robin? Can @…

"Prevent Duplicates will stop working" Oh, no! This plug-in is vital to my workflow. Can someone reach out to the author to get this to sign-ready? @adamsmith: I recall reading Zotero may get an inbuilt prevent duplicates feature. When is …

Glad this thread is already discussed. Currently, these show as not verified: - Zotero - Zotero Word for Windows Integration - Item History for Zotero - Prevent Duplicates Plugin for Zotero These do not have any alert, so they are …

Okay, sounds great. Thanks.

Ok, thanks for looking in to this. Your guess seems correct, based on the icon. Just FYI, I can get you full access for a couple days, if that helps.

Select all (Ctrl + A in Windows) will show the item count in right column. To count only top level items, make sure you've collapsed the tree, by hitting the minus key.

@adamsmith: TRR link working great. Thanks. Another example where abstract is not coming in: http://digitallibrary.sae.org.prox.lib.ncsu.edu/content/2009-24-0148 Above link is through my library login so I can get the PDF. If you have ac…

Okay, that's even better. Here's another example where abstract is not saved: http://trrjournalonline.trb.org/doi/10.3141/2503-12

I tested the formatting for the top 5 styles I use and the Report type comes out really well. The only issue remaining is that DOI is not included. I think a future version of Zotero will bring DOI to reports, right? Also, adamsmith, I noticed …
-
adamsmith, okay. Can't argue with that :) DWL-SDCA, I understood your comment correctly but probably my answer is falling short. The format may match a Report type, but that isn't because authors consider them a report. The format match is most…

These links might help clarify some more: http://papers.sae.org/ http://www.saedigitallibrary.org/content/technical-papers/ On the first link page, it says: "Technical Paper Collections are assembled from technical papers authored for an …

I've never seen them treated as reports. SAE calls them Technical Papers. I'd assume if they wanted these treated as reports, they would have called them Technical Reports. All recent papers have this at the end: "The Engineering Meetings Board…

Reports may be peer-reviewed but that is a professional courtesy controlled by the report authors. It is not mandatory to address peer-review comments. And, reviewers do not get to decide if the report will published. Yes, you are correct why I…

I think they are closest to Conference Paper. I don't think they are anywhere near a Report because these papers are independently peer-reviewed and reports are never. Also, most, if not all, of these papers are presented at an SAE conference. …

SAE fixed working. Actually, and just like you said it will, it is working better than ever before. I noticed that it is now able to distinguish when a SAE paper is printed in a SAE journal versus Technical Paper Series. Thanks! This might be s…
