Thanks. Opening up the downloads folder and deleting all files fixed it, so it must be the renaming bug in Chrome.

FYI, I tried installing it on both an earlier version and and the latest version (as of this morning) of Google Chrome and got the same error message. I also have the Zotero standalone 3.0 and the FireFox updated connector installed.
