I continue to have problems with EBSCO despite the fact that it's no longer listed on the known translator issues page. I find that most of the time I can get items saved to zotero from the results page with the folder icon, but at an individual re…

Other than the fact that I'm using a 32bit Vista, I've got the same configuration and have just noticed the same problem. Likewise, I didn't have an issue with previous versions of Word + previous versions of the plugin.

I am a librarian and I third the request. :)

Thanks, you folks are great. Exactly what I wanted to know. I'm trying to prepare myself in advance for any questions I might get from faculty wanting to use the zotero sync!

Thanks, that was it. By the way, could you point me to a place (or perhaps create one) that explains the files that are uploaded to webdav. That is, what the zip files relate to in the zotero database, etc.? Thanks.

As far as I know, it doesn't right now. However, anyone considering creating a site translator for it might want to wait until Oxford finishes their redesign (which was supposed to be out this November, but seems to be postponed until early 2008). …

The RHS bibliography. http://www.rhs.ac.uk/bibl/accesspoint.asp I thought I might try and experiment with making a translator, but I don't know enough javascript, and this bibliography seems pretty difficult to do because its bibliographic elem…

Whoops - should have made myself clearer. I was able to download it, I just don't know where to place it on my computer so that it works. Ugh, never mind, I'm an idiot. When in doubt, double-click and see what happens. Now I can play with Op…

Jon, where did you install the OpenOffice extension? I've been waiting for this extension to give OpenOffice a try.

I echo mccaskey's request for EEBO and raise him ECCO (eighteenth-century collections online).

Thanks folks for the quick comments! After writing out this post my thoughts on the subject were a little clearer. I signed up for a free Endnote web account, exported Zotero to that, and then exported from Endnote as tab-delimited. Then I was ab…

Mccaskey - yeah, that too! :)

Mike, I suppose these are the little annoyances we deal with when it's all still in beta! I'm following the same "be careful" principle. I'm trying to work on the dissertation and this is such an amazing time saver and organizer, even when everyth…

Hi Mike, I'm using Word 2003, but had a similar "run time error" problem that no one seemed to be able to help with. I'm not positive about what caused my error to develop, but right now I'm thinking it had something to do with switching the collec…

bump in case someone else is having this problem or has a solution!

Right, well I didn't rewrite the problem because other than the fact that I'm using Word 2003, the process and error is the same. The first time I created a document in word and imported footnotes from Zotero it worked well. When I reopened the do…

Just wanted to make sure this was acknowledged as a bug. It's not listed in the "known issues."

I"m using the same version of Zotero with WinXP and Word 2003, and I'm getting the same error. However, copying and pasting into a new document did not work. Are the developers working on this one?
