Alright: repaired manually. No errors so far. However, now I have '982 items' in my SONATA_BIS: so one got deleted :-)
-
Well, the fix website gives me repeatedly a '504 Gateway Timeout' error (in two different browsers) even though I had zipped the file. I will try the manual steps.
-
@dstillman, apologies. Debug ID is D1411267107. (I restarted Zotero and clicked on my 'SONATA_BIS' library, to find the entry list empty though on the right pane it says '983 items in this view'.) And indeed the integrity checker finds errors. I wi…

Thank you. That didn't do it -- one of my libraries started working, but another again showed me a blank list with the information that Zotero encountered an error which I may report. I did that: Report ID 1639228237.
-
(Also: The Obsidian Zotero Integration Plugin seems to be working, the data about the papers are still extractable by Obsidian.) The papers are still there in my local storage folder, too.
-
No worries; I've decided the beta features are worth the risks :-)
-
Well, now I can't reproduce that issue with old annotations. Fingers crossed that it was just my own confusion.
-
Well, the issue I reported was verbatim as in the title: *all* my annotations in my file were deleted. Let me try to reproduce it with a file I consider expendable...
-
Thanks for the info; I'm now working in fear of opening any of my older, annotated files ;-)

Happens all the time for me in 6.0.14-beta.5+2271913e4. Would you like need another debug log?

Oh, I see. Apologies, then. Here's one with all the plugins disabled: D1945848448 (6.0.12-beta.3+d03b0a716)

Unfortunately, this is still happening in 6.0.8-beta.4+1e3959020. New Debug ID: D313206535

Here you go: D1943743959 (I first edited an annotation and everything went OK. However, I then created a new note, and the problem occurred almost immediately.)
-
As far as I understand this is reported as fixed in 6.0.3. Unfortunately, it is still happening in my case, in 6.0.4-beta.2+17d9f06b6 .

Thank you very much. I honestly thought I must've been hitting some weird keyboard shortcut :-)
-
Thank you! I'm a new user so I didn't realize this was new functionality...
-
@dstillman Unfortunately, it seems I'm still missing some crucial info. The notes I imported display as 'read-only' for other members of my team. What's more, their notes display as 'read-only' for me, and the option to 'Import annotations' is graye…

Am I correct that the latest Zotero beta does not allow us to create PDF links? (The Zutilo option also seems not to work anymore -- the 'copy select item links' function creates links in my case just open the collection to which the entry belongs.)…

Thank you very much for the additional explanation. The software seems to be moving in a great direction and, having made the jump from Mendeley to the Zotero beta which *seamlessly* imported my huge database, I'm really looking forward to using it …

Oh, I see. File -> Import annotations. Thank you; to be honest, I had assumed my tablet-created PDF annotations had already become Zotero annotations after I'd clicked 'get from tablet'. (I hadn't noticed the 'Import annotations' option.) Thank …
