I have a PDF where the equation labels are interpreted as citations, but the actual citations are not. In this screenshot, the equation label is treated as a citation: https://s3.amazonaws.com/zotero.org/images/forums/u7554954/iq6tiq9342iy4dg6qcos…

With version 7.0.0-beta.85+c0c00a00e (64-bit), I also find that displaying the outline takes a long time (sometimes over a minute), even when the PDF already has an outline in it. Is the automatic outline creation being performed even if the PDF co…

This seems fixed in 7.0.0-beta.85+c0c00a00e.

This is much improved in 7.0.0-beta.85+c0c00a00e.

I also have Brave set as my default browser on my iPad and links from Zotero do open in Brave. Zotero version: 1.0.38 Build 276 iPadOS version: 17.5.1

Sent. That PDF also has some citations that don't trigger a popup (Evince does show the popup). See the citations for Donoho 2006 on page 3.

Thanks, I see that now as well. Sorry for the erroneous report.

Sometimes I just need a quick way to jump to the bibliography. For example, when reading a sentence with a citation, I sometimes want to see what year some other related paper was written. Clicking the link jumps me to the bibliography in a way wh…

I like the popup as well, but I don’t think it should prevent the link from being clicked on.

I'm also seeing the false positives issue in papers with numerical style references. Version 7.0.0-beta.83+066eda731 (64-bit) on Linux.
-
I can reproduce both the original issue and the one involving the magnifying glass on Linux with version 7.0.0-beta.77+adaa61f2c (64-bit). The key is to switch tabs using the mouse. If I use Ctrl PgUp/PgDn, things behave as expected.

I can no longer reproduce this with version 7.0.0-beta.73+398454f85 (64-bit).

Thanks, I also can no longer reproduce the issue I linked to with beta 73.

@tranngocthach: "Title, Creator, Year" mode will match only parent items and won't expand anything. For me, it seems like items are still expanded in this mode if an attachment has annotations. See the below discussion: https://forums.zotero.org/d…

I updated this morning to version 1.0.29 build 244 and am noticing the same thing. The file I’m experiencing this with didn’t have issues with the previous version. Old highlights are in yellow, new highlight in red: https://s3.amazonaws.com/zoter…

By the way, the annotation isn't actually selected, it's only focused. Pressing Tab and then using the arrow keys allows navigating through annotations and links on the current PDF page. Thanks, you're correct. I didn't actually test hitting delete…

There is a similar behavior when the sidebar is closed. 1. Left-click on an annotation (but don't dismiss it via Esc or clicking elsewhere). 2. Hit Ctrl+f. 3. Hit Backspace. Notice that the annotation has been deleted.

I can reproduce this using version 7.0.0-beta.65+b047f3d90 (64-bit).

In fact, if there are several tabs open, you can use Ctrl+PgUp and Ctrl+PgDn to switch tabs. However, once you land on the library tab, you get stuck due to the above behavior.

I'm not sure if I remember correctly, but I feel like I used to be able to switch tabs using Ctrl+PgUp and Ctrl+PgDn. Now, the Ctrl highlights collections and the PgUp/PgDn scrolls the middle pane.

I noticed that after changing the order of the columns (Year, Creator, Title), it looks fine: https://s3.amazonaws.com/zotero.org/images/forums/u7554954/q15zzhd8cwe886s5myjg.png And then switching back to my preferred (Creator, Year, Title) like i…
