I don't want to pollute this discussion, but the below describes similar symptoms when editing an annotation. https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/93792/text-for-annotation-is-cleared-if-added-too-soon#latest

I managed to record the behavior: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1A-K4_RqKQAzK8FnM_tr6-bgCWrXl1ERP/view?usp=sharing

In between steps 3 and 4, if I click on the item info, I see the correct tag with the correct color. So it appears that it is just the colored dot in the list of items that is not being updated.

This just happened again. When I logged back in, I was presented with a debug ID. Not sure if it's relevant, but it's D421429940.

I forgot to mention that this only happens when iOS is set to dark mode. When editing the abstract in light mode, the background is white and the foreground text is black. When in dark mode, I encounter the black on black text.

Sorry to bump this. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Confirmed. Thanks for the fast turnaround!

I'm not sure if this helps, but the entries in the access log from the desktop app show the username (masked by 'username' below): 192.168.143.95 - username [21/Dec/2021:15:36:20 -0800] "DELETE /zotero/LE354FCQ.zip HTTP/1.1" 204 0 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 …

Thanks. My attempts to log the full headers just creates empty log files, so I'm not having much luck there. I'll leave it for others to try and reproduce.

I just ran a few more experiments. Using the desktop app, I added a file, moved it to the trash, and emptied the trash. No errors appear in my servers logs. If I add the file and move it to the trash with the desktop app, but then empty the trash…

> "The files do appear to have been deleted." My earlier comment might be incorrect. The files don't appear in Zotero's trash (in both the desktop and iOS apps). However, many of these files still appear to exist on the server.

Thanks @dstillman. Regarding the 5XND67FY.prop error you posted above, I see this in my server logs: webdav_error.log:7307754:2021/12/20 17:07:23 [info] 13#13: *2064 no user/password was provided for basic authentication, client: 192.168.143.94, s…

I just tried deleting an additional 3 files from iOS, and now the error is "Could not delete 9 file(s) from your WebDAV server." The files do appear to have been deleted. When I later synced from the desktop app, the trash is empty (it's empty on…

Yes, this is using the built-in PDF viewer.

This also occurs in iOS beta 169. Has anyone else experienced this?
-
Thanks @dstillman. Is the inability to "fit to page" a known issue, or am I doing something wrong?
-
evince has a similar "preview link thumbnail" feature that creates a thumbnail when hovering over an internal link. I've found it incredibly useful to quickly preview the target of an internal link without having to click back and forth. https://g…

I've also had to re-log in every day the past 3 days. Unfortunately, I don't have any other information to provide on how to reproduce this.

Also, I'm not certain but it appears that this setting is the opposite of what is displayed. Meaning, the other settings (Appearance: Automatic, Page Transition: Continuous, Scroll Direction: Vertical) indicate the current behavior. However, "Keep…

@dstillman, to clarify your comment above, will the iOS app continue to support WebDAV servers on the local network accessed via IP address with HTTP? That setup is currently working for me.

Sorry, I should have searched harder. Settings -> Storage -> Purge Storage in My Library did the trick. https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/370237#Comment_370237

Sorry, this could be a duplicate of https://github.com/zotero/zotero/issues/1972

I forgot to mention that this is using the desktop application on Linux.
