if I delete it, the numbers get mixed. At the very beginning when I started I changed the numbers in Chicago style to 1,2,3 because it was i, ii, iii. If you could tell me how to get it back to i,ii,iii I think this will solve the issue.

Thyank you Adamsmith you were right about the Chicago style. I inserted the American Chemical Society style but it doesn't allow me to delete the Chicago style. That is, I have now both styles in the document

Hello Poettli, the style is American Chemical Society. It is in a new empty document. The reference "Coa et al." is the same item in my library, as I picked it from the already cited item from the options that popped up.
