• +1. It can be troubling to open up the built-in PDF viewer on a large monitor but still needing to squint to look at the annotation box that's the same size as that on my laptop.

• I also think I would've noticed, but there seems to be no other way to explain this. After restarting and having Better BibTex exports work normally again, I notice the message "preparing Better BibTex" popping up in the interface. Never seen that …

• Thanks! Just found that the problem disappeared after restarting with logging enabled. Perhaps an update without me noticing? Thanks a lot anyways!
