No, you can't (it has been requested in the past : https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/37831/show-creators-first-name-in-addition-to-last-name-in-the-middle-pane ).

@hungching1982 and @compunk : again, see dstillman's comment above. If you need to print a report, the workaround is to save it as a HTML file (File -> Save or Ctrl/Cmd+S), then open it in your browser and print it.

As far as I remember, the "Zotero Quick Start Guide" note you can see in the center pane has a link, but I might be wrong. Anyway https://www.zotero.org/start shows up when you first install Zotero. I even noticed that the Firefox add-on that was pr…

It's a pop-up (bubble) which appears the first time (first-run) you perform an action in Zotero and which give you some explanation about it (guidance). Examples: Author Menu: "Zotero lets you specify editors and translators, too. You can turn an a…

I think that's attributing more system to the process than justified. IIRC, the current list was proposed by @Gracile with Dan, me, and some others chiming in. I don't think it should be treated as eternal truth.Discussion here: https://github.com/z…

We need more details : which version of Zotero are you using? Zotero for Firefox? Zotero Standalone? Where do you see that your notes have disappeared? Online? Do you use more than one computer : https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/changes_not_syncing…

@raik : just use colored tags, https://www.zotero.org/support/collections_and_tags#colored_tags

Why would you want to do that? I'm not sure to follow.

@benothmanr (et pour ceux qui seraient intéressés par la réponse) : réponse ici.

The option should be there. But make sure the PDF has a parent item.
-
You're aware that files can be either linked or copied (documentation here)? At the moment, copied files have a blank icon except for PDFs and snapshots. There was an attempt to add more icons, but it hasn't been successful. As for linked files, yo…

All data are stored locally. Just change the username in the Sync pane of the Preferences. The next sync will transfer all your data to your new account on the server. (also you'd have to join again groups - and to transfer ownerships of your group…

No, you can't change your username mainly because it's your login (but you can delete your account and create a new one…).

I am not sure this list is up to date, but that can help: https://www.zotero.org/support/mobile

Yes, that's correct. That's how backups work: https://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data

@paulhussey : Start there https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#zotero_toolbar_doesn_t_appear @mariem.ayadi : if you're sure that's the same issue, i.e. you're on a Mac with Microsoft Word 2011 same answer, otherwise …

Because each computer stores its own Zotero database locally. The first one will store a zotero4 db; the second one a zotero5 db. They both sync with the server.
