@Rintze: The last version of locales-fr-FR.xml is here. Thank you for the advice on bitbucket & TortoiseHg. EDIT: Here => http://bitbucket.org/gracile/csl-locales-fr-fr/src

Did you try to validate your style: http://citationstyles.org/downloads/primer.html#validation
-
If you're not sure, I think it's a csl 0.8 style. Docs: http://citationstyles.org/downloads/primer.html http://citationstyles.org/downloads/upgrade-notes.html http://citationstyles.org/downloads/specification.html [Indeed, I think you should start …

@MHSmith: did your style work with 2.1b1? Zotero 2.1 implements csl 1.0: zotero 2.0 styles do not work with zotero 2.1. See: http://citationstyles.org/downloads/upgrade-notes.html#updating-csl-0-8-styles

Ok for "vers"/"v." instead of circa. I'll put non-breaking space for "s. v." too. Fixed "accessed" as "consulté". But bitbucket does not "want" to update the file, I don't understand: I'll do that this evening. PS Could someone please tell me how/wh…

I'm not a regular user of bitbucket: I had some difficulties to upload the new xml file. Thus, I've put the updated French locales here: https://bitbucket.org/gracile/locales-fr-fr/downloads Edit: http://bitbucket.org/gracile/csl-locales-fr-fr/src

@Rintze: That's right (apr. J.-C.). I'll try the superscript later. @MHSmith: Funny, I have also been revising the same French translation today. Some solutions are similar, which is reassuring, and others are different, partly because I am followi…

That's brilliant! I was thinking about b) but not a) which is a smart way to address this issue.
-
One more question: is it possible to add superscripted characters in the localized terms? The short form of issue is "n°" but it should be "no". (Source) The degree symbol is used because it is more practical (direct access with keyboard) but that'…
-
Okay. Thanks for the explanation: that was not as clear in the upgrade notes.
-
1) Just want to keep a writing note of this issue (shared with other languages and without any easy workaround - except a full manual review, (hum... thinking while writing) search and replace might be useful) 2)I had seen these examples. I think t…

Don't want to bother the devs but could this be fixed? If you need more details, just tell me.

Un sujet entier est consacré aux styles français. l2lafitte: maybe your style could be added to the repository? If you accept, I think one (adamsmith?) can do that...

@adamsmith: Sure, it's a bug (or an oversight). What has recently been added is csl mapping of encyclopaedia and dictionary items. That should not affect the searches options, especially for variables of these items.
-
Indeed, it's not possible to search for the title of an encylopedia through advanced search with "Publication" selected. That should be corrected, I think. A workaround is to type "Stanford" in the *quick* search box *with* the quotes.

@baptiste.campion@ucl: You should start a new thread for your specific problem.

Perfect. I should have looked in the prefs before posting. Thanks!
-
Dan: that's great! But how to turn it off or activate it with another language (e.g.: French). My notes are full of red lines now.
-
Maybe I just didn't realize that it was possible before because I never used the quick search option, but the search now also includes the content of notes which I think is great. I'm using zotero 2.0.6 and "note search" is possible. I think it has …

Thanks Dan. I should add that French abbreviations are not good. But I'll wait for the next translation system to change them. They should be: janv., févr., avr., juill., sept., oct., nov., déc. While mars, mai, juin et août must not be abbreviated…

The extension should be indeed be .csl In order to change the extension: right-click the filename "Lucie1.csl.txt" and select "Rename". Then delete the ".txt" and press Enter. If you can't see the extension you first need to: 1. Click "Start" and …
