• Zotero is actually the first application that had problems with the case sensitivity since I have migrated from ubuntu 5 years ago. The workaround works great! Thanks a lot for your help.

• Something strange: when I start Standalone out of the Diskimage, it starts just fine. Yet, Zotero.app in the Applications folder does not start.
