Please mind also the ISSN field for all plausible item types and the Mapping of ISSN to CSL (to finally make available the output like for ISBN and DOI)

Thanks for the info. I think ISSN in CSL and a possible ISO-690 validation will be a big step for Zotero/CSL.

Mapping of ISSN to CSL: I use the ISBN and DOI Tag in my personal CSL file to sort published entries. I really wish I could use ISSN also to cover all at the present used types. Is this not even planned for the future?

It does work now; the macro sort-key has to be limited on: Before there I had the date variable.

@fbennett: yes, I use validating of my style. @adamsmith: thank you to be patient with me ;-) It was late and as non-usal-coder (or experienced programmer) I had forgotten about the debug behaviour of output a function/variable and also linking to t…

ok, you have convinced me to choose manuscript as favorite, maybe also for documents written by typewriter.

It is a good idea to limit the packaged styles. For better usability please add also the possibility to filter/sort the styles in the Zotero/Options (e.g. by date, language, Format, Fields). Date & language would be wonderful also on zotero.org/…

Thanks. I will go on ghisthub when my file is in clear beta/rc phase. For example now I'm in the process of validation. About "document": I understand now the past of this item-type. But I'm still troubled how to categorize old deeds (like medieval…

As the topic has changed I have opened a new thread here: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/19289/csl-10-types-vs-zotero-itemtypes-missing-document-etc/ My actual conclusion is: as non-english Zotero user and "seldom-CSL-coder" mind that you have…

Thank you for introducing me in Zotero/CSL history. I try to comment everything in my first (actually alpha) CSL-File, but it is a complex system for a first time (or casual) editor like me.

I like to compare CSL 1.0 Types with Zotero itemTypes. http://citationstyles.org/downloads/specification.html#appendix-ii-types with https://www.zotero.org/trac/browser/extension/trunk/chrome/locale/de-DE/zotero/zotero.properties?rev=5550#L198 and …

Yep thanks. Sorry to bother again in my "deep CSL coding experience" ;-) Why the code for "itemType" (Eintragsart in german) is coming back in english: Examples: [article-journal]. [book]. [manuscript]. https://www.zotero.org/trac/browser/extensio…

Thank you, very kind. I go with the translation file. But testing I had the problem that did not give a result for me. In german the field is described as "Signatur". Edit: Got it to work with:

@adamsmith: yes, I have installed the style. Very thank you again to both of you. I'm very happy to move forward. For now I will use Rintze's workaround. Now I focus on some more extensions to the style. Looking forward to understand CSL better (f.…

Thank you for the fast support Rintze & adamsmith! My system: Win7SP1x32, Firefox 6, Zotero 2.1.8, CSL 1.0, chicago-note-bibliography 2011-05-18. So it should all be the last stable versions. I tested a lot in the last hours (with some code erro…
