• ah! I didn't know I should close the Show Editor window eventhough I don't alter anything there. This might jut be the case. I will go through all my citations, close this window and reply back the result. Thanks again for your help.

• I was wondering if I installed the beta version 3 stand alone it would fix this problem. This has been really counterproductive for me. Especially now in such short deadlines. I appreciate your help very much, thanks a lot.

• sometimes I use "Show Editor" window in the plugin to check if the numbering is correct, yes, but I never alter it from there.

• If I delete the in text citation number and then add it again it corrects it but further down the line, when I add another citation the problem happens again but in another part of the document.
