I am using Linux Ubuntu 18.04 soon 20.04. No reason to use an old version. I can indeed update and see if this is the problem. Will try that now and report. thanks for the tip.

Hi thanks for the feedback. I am an astronomer and wish to have a semi-automatic way to design a nice formatted file with all my bibliography. I am using the ADS abstract service which can provide a full-fledged bibtex file with all my papers…
