Yup. No help coming it seems. Went back to Zoo for Zotero and external PDF annotator. Works fine.

They are installed at the OS level. No difference. Workround I would suggest is allowing to point to the android filesystem to the directory synced by nextcloud.

Google webdav. Fundamentals remain the same. How would you convince those who aren't interested in what seems to be just another solution in search of a problem? Make the case.

Withdrawn - Xodo works fine now, with one trivial issue: The modified date isn't changed from adding the annotations. This was throwing me off for a bit.

For what it is worth, it doesn't occur in Firefox on KDE Neon - perhaps that is a workaround on Mint...

For those not willing to surrender data ownership, WEBDAV support is a must have. Isn't outdated or slow.

To be more clear, I have copied the pdftoppm file into every directory I can see that is related to Zotero, and no change. To what directory for a pdftoppm executable is it referring?
