@aborel Indeed. There are various options. Sometimes, the chapter name starts with 'Chapter x' or directly with a number, and then, separated with a dot or dash or colon, of the actual name. In that case, translators should split the title, so the …

For when a Chapter/Chapter number field for the Book section item type? It is weird that sometimes the translator gets the item title starting by Chapter x ...

@dstillman I've just seen that this key is not synced, but present only in one of the synced computers.

For my surprise I see that the other computer synced to Zotero the same itemID number corresponds to a different item. Can someone help on this? Thanks!

I always have to do something like your step 1 (in Debian too). I believe (after some test I did at some point) that "$(dirname $(realpath $(echo %k | sed -e 's/^file:\/\///')))/zotero -url %U" does not build the right address for the zotero executa…

@fundor7 There is already that option through View > Split Horizontally/Vertically

@mjthoraval it seems so, thanks!

Thank you all @mjthoraval @martynas_b @dstillman

Thanks @mjthoraval

I was going to make the screenshot (in Windows), but now it works. It's weird. Sorry for the noise.

+1 It would be great customizability of dark mode in Zotero 7 (as I already suggested in https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/454422/#Comment_454422)
-
@dstillman it would be great if the typing was visible, maybe through search fields under the column names
-
This is a wonderful update. In particular for the dark view mode for pdf's, which I believe was one of the most needed features Zotero lacked. Regarding it, it would be great if further, it was customizable through themes (like in Firefox or Libre…

Notes and also tags, although the option suggested by @tim820 of having > a more formal Description, that would automatically appear at the top of the collection. would be great too
-
This is also discussed in https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/104391/suggestion-question-improve-the-forums#latest

It would be great Zotero implementing 'citation relations' between items (separate or more specific with respect to the Related feature) using something such as OpenAlex or mainly OpenCitations
-
This and adding author identifier like ORCiD and additional information like author email would be great. Further, through ORCiD, other identifiers or email, authors coul be grouped/identified, so one could look for all the papers of a concrete uniq…

@dstillman thanks! > ... once the data model is updated Is it going to happen in a near future?

As points @poettli, this plugin has too many bugs. Ideally, a simple implementation should be possible in Zotero of the night functionality, as there exists doq (https://github.com/shivaprsd/doq), an add-on for pdf.js, which does not seem to be very…

Thanks @adamsmith I will ask if there is an API to work with that database. Regarding the additional information you give, is it documented at any place of Zotero documentation? Thanks again!

Coming back again to the dark mode issue/discussion/feature request in the zotero pdf-reader. It should be easy, as it is built on pdf.js, which on one hand supports this inversion (1. the link of the first post of the discussion; 2. https://github.…

+1 to last comments. Rotate pdf pages by editing them is quite slow. Both options (view-rotate and edit-rotate) could be allowed simultaneously. Further, rotating multiple pages simultaneously would be a plus.
-
Thanks @adamsmith. Let's say I want to correct now all the items where I have introduced persons as single field names. Is there some way (using advanced search or Run JavaScript) to search them?
-
@dstillman Thanks! Then, it would be great if they could be seen like the other notes or like tags in an associated panel (I believe more visualy appealing and easibly accesible than like attachments).
-
I am fully agree with the suggestions to improve the forum (in particular, I think the ideas comented by @DWL-SDCA are very interesting), and I also understand the disadvantages answered. Beyond github issues are a good example or not, I would like…

"I'm actually not sure if we intended that. We'll need to think about whether Add Item by Identifier should use the same process as Find Available PDF." It would be great prioritizing this way over Unpaywall or giving the user the option to choose …
