I ask because Word is not connecting to Zotero and I was wondering if this as an issue with the Zotero version I'm using.
-
No need to respond. I updated Mozilla and reinstalled Zotero and the word plug-in and now it's working.
-
Ah, of course. Thanks.
-
Actually now I have it on my Mozilla. I hadn't included the PythonExt first. But here's something else. When I click on Zotero on the bottom right of my browser, it doesn't "know" that I already have a library.
-
I checked my OS and it says it's 10.6.7. Based on what you've said, the plug-in should work.
-
Thank you! I have another pretty basic question. Where does this biography "go"? In other words, when it's generated, where will it get placed in the manuscript? Or would it go into its own file? How do I control that?
-
adamsmith, This is off topic, but maybe you know the answer to this. My citations are all in footnotes now but I may need to switch to endnotes. If I do that via a Word macro, are there any known issues w/Zotero?
-
Ah, thanks. I'll have to ask my publisher if they want Full Note or Note style.
-
OK, I put in a short title. But now the first time it's cited, it uses the first title. Is there a way to set it so the longer title is used the first time and then the short title thereafter?
-
I didn't realize there was a short title field. Very cool.

Thanks. The editing function seems to fix this.
