Yes, I selected it as the JVM in LibreOffice. The LibreOffice is the official Ubuntu build.

I downloaded Java 12, but I'm getting the same results.

I just tried that, unfortunately it appears to be multiple citations. Presumably there has to be somewhere that Zotero stores whether to ignore these changed citations or not? If it's in the field code, I could change it there.

I checked to see what other JREs I could install. (I think the reason for the old one is that I have some application that won't run under newer versions.) I found a JRE v.13 one and installed it, but with the same results. I would like to get th…

This was interesting. I went to check the JRE and noted that "Use JRE" was checked but none of the options was selected. However, I think in retrospect that it doesn't show the one you currently have selected. I chose the Ubuntu version 11 option…

No more ideas?

No visible effect on LibreOffice. It continues to function normally.

Following adomasven's suggestion, I get pretty much the same freeze, including the following in the dbug output (no dialogue present): (3)(+0000010): [_updateDocument] Attempting to update manually modified citation. Original: Boer, Adriaan Pauw (1…

This is a nice dialogue I'm carrying on with myself... Okay, I deleted the whole uno_modules cache directory a second time, then reinstalled the Zotero extension, then I got the "read-only" error that everyone else is getting -- which is a good th…

Although Zotero is now working fine, I still get the above error beginning "Error loading BASIC document..." whenever I open OOo. Since Zotero seems to have switched to Python rather than OOo Basic, I think this error must be left over from the old…

I forgot to mention these details: OOo 2.3, Zotero 1.0rc5, Ubuntu Gutsy. I decided to uninstall the OOo from the Gutsy repositories, which had given me some other trouble as well, and install the one from the OOo website. It worked!

I've found it to be sluggish just moving items around between collections. I was trying to move 463 items from the library into a collection, and it just wasn't happening -- nothing was moving. Smaller amount (e.g., 10) would copy over fine. Mayb…

Bless you for this release. For me, the biggest improvement was fixing the focus issues. I would sometimes have to click on a field 4 times to get it to focus properly, which really drove me crazy. I didn't complain about it because I thought it …

This also works if you put it in your userChrome.css. Much simpler that trying to alter the Zotero extension. Sincerely, Derek
