Hi, indeed, installing libdbus-glib solved my problem. It might be a good idea to add this hint to the installation section of the documentation. Thanks for the assistance.

Just in case anyone stumbles across this question again: Right click the toolbar, deselect "Lock toolbar position" -> drag toolbar to position wanted, and lock the position again.
