• Just for context, I'm trying to install better bibtex, which releases stable versions frequently, so the plugin itself definitely isn't the problem

• I definitely have the correct XPI file and I'm not running third-party security software. The permissions to the Zotero profile directory look fine to me. So I deleted Zotero and reinstalled it but I'm still getting the same error. Any ideas?
