Thank you for the asking for suggestions. I don't understand the rationale for excluding the buttons from the tabindex. It's not an exception according to WCAG 2.0 success criteria 2.1.1. https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG21/Understanding/keyboard.html …

I was stepping through with JAWS and NVDA, and recognize the same problem as SunDial. I also second the call for a shortcut key and I second the call for attention being focused on using standard roles for screen elements. There's some oddities …

Yes, the work around is to press Alt + tab until finding the Quick format citation window. However, that's still a problem. If someone is using the screen reader and cannot see the screen, they may not even realize there's a new window to be looked …

It's the classic dialog. Thanks for the idea about dedicated keyboard shortcut. That should save some time when folks have lots of edits to to. I've tried the shortcut instructions on the page provided. The blog post that is linked to on the page …

It was actually a blind screen reader researcher who drew my attention to how valuable the library lookup feature is. I have since told other blind researchers about it. For tools used in university settings where more and more people are recogniz…

I checked Zutilo. I didn't see one for Library Lookup. There is one for google scholar. It would be also be helpful to build it directly into Zotero as some researchers who can't use a mouse may not know about Zutilo.
