Yes - I haven't had a chance to work on the details yet, but I think the way to fix this will be to adjust the style. Should have more news in a couple of days, feel free to ping if you don't hear more by then.

Testing here on Linux, it will also switch out of merge mode if you navigate with the arrow keys. Clicking on an item will restore the merge-match view.

Word processor integration is broken exactly as you say in the current release. It looks like you are on a Mac. A corrected release will be out for Mac tomorrow morning (about 9 hours from this writing). I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks for reporting. I'll take a look.
-
Thanks! I wasn't able to reproduce it immediately. Great to know it's squashed.
-
Many thanks - and congratulations on the publication! The care that went into the manuscript is evident from the references. At our end, with the latest kit and in a browser test environment, the citations and bibliography now render in just over 15…

@mchenette: Should suppress-author also suppress title-short on subsequent citations, or should this be fixed only for full-form citations?
-
I had the same error in Jurism yesterday, in a shared library synced to zotero.org. I assumed that it was a bug in my own code, but it looks like something may be up with merges in the latest Zotero release.
-
@c-sander: I have recently been working with data gleaned earlier from Zotero interaction with the document you kindly provided, in connection with a processor performance issue. It is very useful to have such a large data set for testing purposes. …

This would be due to a change I made in the citation processor. Thank you for noting the style, I will use that for testing, and restore the previous behavior. (And you don't need to revert to a previous version of Zotero. This is a bug, and will b…

@EEff: Submit the file by pressing the Submit button. There is a delivery channel for it behind the scenes, and Adomas can pick it up there. What he needs here is not the file contents, but the Debug ID number. If you follow his instructions, you ca…

Yep, it's a transient thing that doesn't harm the document. My "fix" was ham-fisted and didn't pass muster; but Adomas made adjustments that properly squash the bug. That's in the current beta, will be out in the next release.

Should be okay here, since fresh queries float to the top.

Got it. No need for LibreOffice, you're fine as you are, and you do not need the ODF Scan plugin. I don't know the RTF Scan end of things much, but someone else may be able to help.
-
(@philipafine: If your citation markers are in the RTF Scan format and the tool is failing on you, post a note back here, and someone more familiar with RTF Scan than I may be able to help.)
-
Could you post one of your citation markers as an example? There are two flavors of citation marker. The old-school marker is the "RTF Scan" format, and support for that is built into Zotero. The "ODF Scan" marker has a different format, it works o…

I'm describing the steps that are written there. :-) Thanks for checking. I was definitely seeing these symptoms, and I ran through those exact steps repeatedly before posting, first in Jurism, and then in Zotero. The document used for testing must…

Nothing has changed in Zotero, but you enjoyed a run of good luck for several months. Zotero needs to have exclusive control over a single copy of the database file. That's just the way the database is designed to work. When the file is stored in a …

Very late to the party here, but I just used the JS runner to refactor 1,000 case entries in an old library, and: thank you.

Is there really a comma between "Denise A" and "Austin"?
-
Which citation style are you using?
-
No, it was pure Chinese text that caused the problem. It was a bug, and in the next Zotero release, pure Chinese text will work fine there.
-
This can happen when a citation is opened for editing or insertion, in an open document, immediately after restarting Zotero, if the edit/insert is then cancelled. The next operation will throw this error, and restarting Zotero and refreshing citati…

Or open Document Preferences, and tick the "Automatic Citation Updates" box,.

All good now. The pre- and post- arrays are unique, and reflect the field position in the document. It should make sense to the beast. I wasn't able to pin down any lasting side effects from the overrun, but you never know - and it saves a few cycle…
-
Well, almost. The new commit runs stable, but the processor is being presented with irrational input that may affect the operation of Zotero in unpredictable ways. Here are the sort of arrays it is seeing, not only when opening the Classic editor, b…

No, he's talking about editing a CSL style file, for bibliography output. If the abstract has come through in the Abstract field, not a note, then you could produce this document as an annotated bibliography with a suitable CSL style.

Would your daughter be interested in learning to code CSL? (An earnest suggestion -- by way of learning to fish etc.)

In a terminal window, does "ls /tmp" show anything useful?

Is Norway part of the ELI system? (Edit: Fixed country name.)
