I'll take a look tomorrow (it's bedtime here). It sounds like it can be fixed with an update to the plugin.
-
What do you mean by "collected everything together?"
-
@Pia Montealegre: A late response here, but I've added a note on the site, indicating the need to remove old versions of the plugin.
-
Sorry, this had slipped off my radar. I've bundled a revised processor (tag 1.1.138) in the Propachi plugins. Try installing one of those, and see if it behaves as desired. (If it works, you should remove or disable the plugin at the next Zotero rel…

Ha! When I saw Emiliano's post, I at first checked an ugly old hack I once had in there (using names entered as PHilippe). That no longer works. I had completely forgotten about Gracile's request, but that's probably a good way to go at this. Not su…

I wonder if you could get a folder icon with full item metadata to work by embedding the CSL JSON (or an RIS conversion of it?) in data URLs with an Ajax call.
-
Good thought. I don't have a clear idea of the details, but if you could present the extracted data under a folder icon, that would be really nice.
-
If the bibliography names come from a macro "author-bib" (for example), I'm pretty sure that something like this should do it: Edit: Probably you would want to call a date macro that restricts the date to the year, rather than the raw "iss…

Musing about this ... It should be possible (for someone) to build something that (a) just extracts references from a document for import, without preserving links in the document, and (b) doesn't require installation of software. Both *.docx and …

I have a file ready, if you send me your email address as a private message (using the "Inbox" link at the top of this page), I can send it to you. I'd be a little concerned that the original style may not accurately implement the rules of the unde…

I'll prepare a version that works for English and defaults to Chinese. With that setup, if you cite resources in non-English languages, they will be cited with Chinese terms---but it's easy to extend the style to cover additional languages, so you c…

(@nickbart: I think that works only in Zotero 4.0beta or with a Propachi plugin at the moment?)
-
Okay, I've made a separate copy of the style, and done some changes to prepare for a multilingual version. What languages do you need to see supported in it? (It won't be quite as simple as plugging in terms localized to the language of an item. Th…

The latest processor release (tag 1.1.133, out this morning) supports line-entry variables in the Extra field, and removes variables when they are added to the item. Depending on whether Zotero performs other sanitizing operations on the DOI field c…

It's done with some non-standard structures in the CSL code of the style. Is there a particular style in the CSL repository that you would like to have adapted in that way? Also, would the same treatment other terms (editor, translator, etc.)?
-
The Item History plugin is outdated, and does not work with recent Zotero releases, as far as I know. I believe that similar functionality is in the development roadmap for Zotero proper.
-
My fault, sorry---I didn't liase properly over a recent change. A new release of the processor that should fix this is available as tag 1.1.131. I have also updated the Propachi plugins with the new processor version. The Propachi plugins can be us…

Glad to hear it worked! I noticed that subsequent back-references are providing full information on the cite ("558 U.S. 310, 312") rather than the "Bluebook" details, which would be something like "558 U.S. at 312" (with "at" as connector, and provi…

Thanks for the description. The reason I asked about the style was to confirm the variable(s) used to produce the numbers in citations (and to understand clearly what was going awry for you). Since IEEE is a numeric style, the misbehaving variable i…

Whoot! (I think that's the phrase, hope I spelled it correctly.)

@brodders: Good to hear that your document came together in the end. What style is this done with?

(Nathan: Feel free to drop by if you like, I'm on campus most days [Room 324 in the old Law building]. I recently cleaned office, and the digs are reasonably civilized. I can offer tea ...)

Dan: Yep, those are the ones.citation.showEditor=エディタを表示する... citation.hideEditor=エディタを表示しない... The alternate form with the long-mark (エディター) is also correct, but Zotero uses the shorter form elsewhere, so (pending confirmati…

This bug should now be fixed, in citeproc-js tagged release 1.1.130. I have pushed the new code into the Propachi plugins, so you can reinstall one of those to see if the processor now behaves itself. Thanks to the ambition of my bad-boy extensions…

(I suppose that what should happen is that the short-codes, which are not part of the CSL specification anyway, should be treated as dumb strings if they are not defined in the locale. Live and learn.)
-
I'm not sure what the code being tested looks like anymore, but I've learned something from a little poking around. Most of the weirdness here is caused by an internal list of short-codes in the processor that includes "number," on the assumption t…

(Thanks for the assist @adamsmith)

We'll have to wait for someone else to do some testing then. @adamsmith? @Rintze? Others?

I don't doubt your report; but I can't address an issue that I can't reproduce. It is possible that the Propachi plugin does not take effect correctly in Standalone. If you have Firefox installed, you could test to see if the Propachi plugin fixes …

I'll keep an eye on the issue, but I'll need to reproduce it in order to fix it.
