Those combinations all seem to work fine now, testing with the latest processor release. Try installing one of the Propachi plugins. The plugin will slot the latest processor version into Zotero: if it works, you can run with it, but be sure to remo…

It's fixed, in tagged release 1.1.128 that just went up. I've updated the Propachi plugins, see how it goes.
-
Fixed. I've updated the Propachi plugins, give it a try.
-
Confirmed (with expletives). I'll fix it.
-
Here's the section of the CSL Specification that deals with that: http://docs.citationstyles.org/en/stable/specification.html#id8

Dan, Just posted another update (tag 1.1.120), to address the bug reported here. After discovering that the 1.1.119 fixes didn't address that bug (failure of subsequent-author-substitute with macros shared between cs:citation and cs:bibliography), …
-
This failure of subsequent-author-substitute should be fixed in the latest processor release, version 1.1.120. For testing, and for projects requiring an immediate fix, install one of the Propachi plugins to run the revised processor in current Zot…

This delimiter bug has been addressed, in citeproc-js release 1.1.119. For testing, and for projects requiring an immediate fix, install one of the Propachi plugins to run the revised processor in current Zotero. The plugin should be removed at the…

The fix is done, so this issue will soon go away. It's getting later here, I'll bundle up a release tomorrow morning.
-
The timing is good. I was just getting ready to announce fixes for a couple of other bugs, one of which required delving into the part of the code where this bug also lives—so it's a grudge match, and one that we're likely to win. More in a bit.
-
(Well, not many styles other than this one.)
-
No. It's a bug, and I'll follow up later with a fix, but it's unlikely styles other than this one will be affected.
-
Is the period in your input data? From the code of chicago-fullnote-bibliography.csl, I don't see where it would come from in the style.
-
I think the Rights field is sometimes used for hacking in ordinary field content, but I'm not sure. Zotero doesn't have a way of handling name variants as far as I know.
-
Juris-M is designed for that. https://juris-m.github.io
-
There must be a duplicate reference in there when that happens. You can check by opening each of the references for editing in the document with the QuickFormat dialog (not Classic), and clicking to open the reference in Zotero. If there is no link…
-
Regular backups is the main thing. Settle on a tool, test its restore capability, and make sure that it's catching all the necessaries. The other thing to check would be the online copy, if the library was synced.
-
James, Sorry for the delay in responding. A Juris-M install can't reset the library to an earlier version. It is most likely that the system was set to use a custom Juris-M/Zotero directory location, and the client forgot the setting on the reinsta…

@danielreedersccv, Well, thanks a lot for your feedback, then. :-) We'll take it from here.

That's good to hear. I'll test ISBN/DOI fetches with the Standalone version next time I get a chance, but (if I remember correctly) it's possible that there are just network proxy issues at your location that don't play well with Standalone.
-
@shamsulfalaah, That ISBN works here as well, in JM for Firefox. Are both of your trials (for Zotero and for JM) done with a Firefox plugin, or is one or the other done in a Standalone version?
-
@adamsmith @fbennett If I close JM Standalone, clicking 'Add citation' causes Word to hang completely.this part doesn't seem right, though?True, but with only months left to go for the Zotero 4.0 codebase, and with work to adapt Juris-M to Zotero 5.…
-
It's working here. Can you post an ISBN or DOI that fails for you?
-
Frankly, the reason there is no better way is lack of commitment/engagement from the legal profession. As long as no one puts serious funding behind this (the way the humanities and library sciences have done with Zotero, say), lone rangers like Fra…

Similarly, most legal citations are preceded by some kind of signal indicating what kind of support is drawn from the cited text -- again, these are highly conventional and could be drawn from a list. There is this plugin, but it seems not to work wi…

This is what appears when the Zotero for Word 'Add citation' function is activated for the first time when JM Standalone is running...This is a Juris-M issue, not a Zotero bug. (It should be documented, but it's not worth addressing the behaviour i…

@danielreedersccv, Sorry to hear you've had a bad experience, and I hope you are able to find a tool that better serves your purposes.
-
This isn't possible---unfortunate for your use case, but by design. I've posted an answer over on StackOverflow.
