You are unable to provide a Report ID?

From the discussion in the thread, it sounds like that file still has problems.

It's good to hear that you've cleared the hurdle, but with adamsmith I'm a little puzzled about what the issue was. If there were footnotes in the document that were not created with Zotero, the word processor itself (not Zotero) should provide a me…
-
That would depend on your requirements -- if you require secure synchronisation and sharing within a single institution or cluster of users, you would need to look into running the Zotero server software, and that would take some work. The client so…

The software is free.

In that case the solution is even simpler. Switch to the MLA style, then use the "Insert bibliography" selection via the word processor plugin to insert a bibliography at the end of the document.

Duplicates checking in MLZ discriminates on volume and reporter. However, MLZ uses different styles for legal writing, and some knowledge of the Abbreviation Filter plugin is needed to produce correct legal citations. MLZ is not the official Zotero …

The CSL 1.0.1 specification provides a clear example.

Language definitions and supplementary fields will not sync currently. Sync depends on the Zotero sync server, which is designed to work with the mainstream client version. The best available method for moving data between multilingual data between …

Had a window of opportunity with network access this morning. I've put up a fresh release of MLZ that incorporates this fix. If you need it in mainstream Zotero, there's a way to do that -- just post back with a query and I'll pick it up when I get …

Hmm. Not a warm response, but that's an easy hurdle to clear. I'll write, I'm sure Sebastian will write, we'll see what happens.
-
I'm working on a fix for this. It will be done pretty soon, but I probably won't have access to the release server until early next week.
-
Thanks for coming back on this one. I don't have direct access to the error reports, but a more careful inspection of the code turned up another instance of this bad function. The bug would have been triggered by code that drives the Related display…
-
I agree that this probably is not feasible, although it would be nice to have. As Mikka notes, some of the item types are frequently leveraged to produce quite distinct citations depending on the input (paper-conference comes to mind). Expected com…

@nevermind: Funny you should mention Hungarian. A colleague mentioned this Hungarian names issue to me just yesterday. The citation processor does not currently produce the correct result, but we have a model to work from: Vietnamese is also indisti…

Name swapping has been implemented in MLZ.
-
It's a little cumbersome to type repeatedly, but if you enter "f4r", the "r" will come out superscripted.

In the macro "author", you have small-caps set on the "name" element. In the macro "author-short" you have it set on two "name-part" elements. The configuration in the "author" macro needs to look like that in "author-short". (it's the same advice …
-
The abbreviation filter should work with mainstream Zotero, but this particular use case will work only with MLZ and a non-standard extension to CSL. Short-form institutional names are configured on a cs:institution element (a sibling to cs:name) t…
-
In the style, it looks like small-caps formatting is applied only to the family name part in the short form macro. If you apply the same logic to the other name element (for the long form), things should look right.
-
To use the old input method, visit gear menu -> Preferences -> Cite and tick the box for "Use classic Add Citation dialog".
-
The posts in this thread cover all of the reported issues. As Dan explains, with Zotero 3.0 if you edit citation text directly in the document, it will no longer update. You can check whether a citation has been changed manually in this way by open…
-
If you click on the volume number in a sample cite, the macro that generates it will be opened for editing.
-
Ah. I'll withdraw that apology, and replace it with one for not checking the specification before responding!
-
It depends on the context. If the first reference has a locator (a pinpoint) and the second reference does not, the subsequent form (Author, "book title" in Chicago) will be used. If the references are in different notes, ibid will not be used in …

Do all of the target primary sources have a common characteristic (such as having a translator, or not having an author)?
-
Sorry, that was a bit cryptic. If you open the Classic View when editing a citation, you should find an "abbrevs." button in the upper left-hand corner of the dialog box. Clicking on the button will open another dialog, from which you can select fro…

@doyledh: The Abbreviation Filter might be worth a look.
-
I don't have an idea about the cause, but one thing you might try is to copy-paste the content of one of the files into a fresh document, to see if that wakes up the content.
-
I'm working on an alternative to RTF-Scan that may help. It will be implemented in MLZ only at first, and live Zotero citations will only work after the document is converted to ODF for editing in LibreOffice; but unless Corel undertakes to produce …
