Restart Zotero and try again, and if you're still having trouble provide a Debug ID for a sync that produces the error.

You're syncing a different account. You can see the username in the Sync pane of the app settings. If you'd like to transfer your storage subscription to the account you're using, email storage@zotero.org.

"Omit Author" is the current wording. You shouldn't be seeing "Suppress Author" in a current version of Zotero. Can you provide a Report ID?

We actually do detect PDFs in iframes and show the PDF icon. See https://pdfobject.com/static/ for an example. That works for me in Safari. In any case, we would indeed need an example URL to say more.
