Restart your computer and make sure you don't have a copy of Zotero running in another user account.
-
You'll need to say what the actual problem is that you're experiencing. See Reporting Problems for the two things we need to help.
-
(There was no change in Zotero here.)
-
What "notes tab" are you referring to? Can you provide a screenshot?
-
6.0.36 Start by installing Zotero 7 from the download page. We can no longer help with Zotero 6.
-
Yes, for technical reasons, it will work with some targets and not others. File Explorer will work, as should software made with web technology (Gmail, Thunderbird, etc.). Other programs may not work. (Showing a citation for an attachment at all is…

This is a known issue. Note that, if you're not creating annotations, you can uncheck "Include Annotations" to greatly speed up file copying. There's also a bug in the current version where files without annotations — often the vast majority of fil…

I mean, that sounds normal. When you use any app, the CPU usage will spike. But you can email a video (or, if it's large, a link to it) to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread if you want us to look at something.
-
We always need the exact message you're receiving. If you're referring to "Word could not communicate with Zotero. Please ensure Zotero is running and try again.", see https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#error_or_non…

You'll need to say what style you're using and what you expect the output to be, and you should include a screenshot of the Info section for the item.
-
You're trying to upload a ~300 MB file. The error message shows you the file in question. The free quota is 300 MB, so yes, you would have to delete that file and empty the trash or upgrade your storage plan.
-
We always need an example URL for problems with saving.
-
Great, thanks very much to you and @jkr for reporting and helping us troubleshoot.
-
I don't know what you're referring to here. Can you provide a screenshot? (I'd recommend just posting in your native language. We're not able to understand your posts in English.)
-
We can only help with Zotero 7 at this point.
-
It seems like you resolved this? You're now the owner of the group you created a new thread about.
-
That's certainly not normal, but the Energy tab isn't that useful for troubleshooting unless it's showing something not reflected in other tabs. What do you see for Zotero in the CPU tab during normal usage?
-
Make sure you've selected the style in the Export → Quick Copy section of the Zotero settings. The Style Manager in the Cite tab is just for adding/removing styles.
-
@Asterisxs, @LFE: This should still work in Zotero 7, and it does for me. Make sure you're not running using the hidden Windows Administrator account and that neither Zotero nor the program you're trying to drag to (e.g., Outlook) is running as admi…

Can you provide a screenshot of what you're referring to, as well as a Report ID?
-
We answered you via email. For connection issues, see Connection Error and Zotero and Firewalls. If you're having trouble, you may need to speak to your IT department and point them to those pages. It sounds like they're either blocking connections…

Fixed — sorry about that.

Fixed — sorry about that.

Just Alt works on Linux in general, but possible there's a problem with certain keyboard layouts.
-
(Just down-arrow on the bubble in Zotero 7. No Ctrl/Cmd.)
-
I've removed that documentation entry.

In the latest Zotero beta, the preview can now better use the available screen height at wider pane sizes. The change will be in 7.0.4 soon. @rg_software: Please see Etiquette. This isn't an appropriate way to post here.
-
Can you say what exactly happened when you followed my steps? We'd like to make a more general fix here. People obviously can't be going into the registry to fix this.

@m_w_mm: I've merged your posts into this existing thread. FWIW, your university is the only one we've gotten reports from about this since this change for Sonoma a year ago.
