I linked to a troubleshooting page above. (It's also linked from the error dialog.)

Can you provide exact steps to reproduce? I'm not seeing that. Make sure you can reproduce this in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”).

The message means what it says: "Your connection is likely being monitored, and Zotero has not been configured to trust the intermediate server." https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/ssl_certificate_error

(Please start new threads for new issues — the thread you posted to isn't related. I've moved this to a new thread.) Can you go to your Zotero profile folder and send the session.json file to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?

You've never synced the account you're posting from. You can see the account you're syncing from in the Sync pane of the Zotero settings. If you'd like us to transfer your subscription to a different account, email storage@zotero.org with details.

Can you provide a Debug ID from the iPad for making a change that isn’t immediately uploaded?

It looks like you entered a space at the beginning of the URL, making it invalid. We'll fix it to handle that, but there's no reason to enter this manually. You can just select the entry from the drop-down menu in the settings — it's populated autom…

That should open the URL in your browser with appropriate parameters appended, and it does for me. Are you saying it doesn't open a URL in your browser? Can you provide a Report ID?

You're syncing with a different account from the one you're posting from. You can see the account you're using in the Sync pane of the Zotero settings.

Everything you need to know about the data directory and restoring from backups is covered on the linked page: https://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data (I'm not sure where you got the idea that the SQLite files are in the 'storage' folder. That'…

You should report this to them.

1) Upgrade to Zotero 7. 2) It looks like you're using a third-party package. We can only provide support for the official tarball from this site or zotero-deb.

For problems with a plugin, you'll need to contact the plugin developer.

What do you mean by "crash"? A crash would be Zotero closing completely. If you mean that you're getting an error, unless you can reproduce this in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plug…

(Well, not any ISBN. There's no central repository for ISBN metadata, so the ISBN has to be registered in one of the main repositories that Zotero uses. Some books, particularly self-published ones or ones from small presses, may not have any availa…

@clarkb: You really are just mistaken here. If you change Zotero 7 to Compact and drop the font size down a couple sizes, you end up with the same information density — Zotero 7 fits a total of one fewer row due to slightly larger toolbar icons. We …

No, those are all normal (though you can delete app.update.backgroundErrors — that's not valid anymore). You can see if future updates are applied automatically.

No, debug output logging doesn't affect anything. It would've just resolved itself.

Are you still seeing this? If so, do the annotations appear in the online library? If so, is the sync icon still spinning on your PC?

Are you still seeing this? If so, can you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for reproducing it?

Are you talking about syncing or are you talking about loading? "Loading items" doesn't have anything to do with syncing. Can you provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup through a few minutes of "Loading items", using the "Restart with Logging Enable…

Are you still having trouble? If so, how exactly are you trying to add a citation? Can you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for reproducing this?

But were you using Zotero on this computer before? You’re saying you updated to Zotero 7 on this computer and your groups disappeared? Can you provide a screenshot, either here or in an email to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?

We always need an example URL for problems with saving.
