Just a bug in the beta. We'll fix — thanks. (@katdevine, be sure to note when you're referring to the beta.)
-
As I said, it was a bug with refreshing that we've now fixed.
-
2.0.2 is out now with this fix.
-
I'm not sure what you're saying here. It was a just a bug.
-
What's the actual message you're seeing? Can you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for a sync attempt that results in an error?
-
You do, however, appear to have permanently deleted thousands of items in the last week. If you're syncing with another computer, you should be able to restore from that or from one of its automatic backups. If this happened within the last couple…

A Zotero update wouldn't cause you to lose data. If you say more about what the actual problem is, we might be able to tell you more.
-
But note that Zotero 6 will no longer sync down most items from newer versions due to the addition of new fields in Zotero 7.0.31. You'll need to update to Zotero 7.
-
See Changes Not Syncing, and if you're still having trouble, provide the requested info. (If you're referring to library data, this doesn't have anything to do with WebDAV.)

Can you provide a Debug ID for trying to open a PDF?

(I mean, we could in theory decide that it made sense to convert existing Director values to Creator for Video Recording, while leaving Director as an available creator type, just because Director was effectively used as Creator. But I don't believe…
-
So it seems that *existing* Video Recordings did not get that new Creator field added in 7.0.31 No? Not sure why you think that. https://s3.amazonaws.com/zotero.org/images/forums/u6/rhot3ftkjdc86i0oinln.png It just doesn't convert Director creators…

This should be fixed in the latest Zotero beta.

This should be fixed in the latest Zotero beta. Thanks!
-
It looks as if the medium variable isn't being moved into the Format field for the types that now have it (e.g. on a book or dataset). Fixed in the latest beta — thanks.
-
Added, thanks.
-
That's a 401 Unauthorized error from your WebDAV server. That's all we can tell you.
-
Just to be clear, the point is that Video Recording items now have a Creator type that's mapped to Author. That didn't exist before, and that's likely what should be used in most situations (e.g., most YouTube videos). Saving from YouTube now will p…

Ah, OK, so you're referring to the file renaming template? Note that that's about the attachment filename, not any "title". (Also, to be clear, we can't speak to any behavior that occurs via plugins. Zotero doesn't set attachment titles as shown in …

2.0.1 is already out. All you need to do is make sure you've updated.
-
If you deleted the zotero.sqlite database by accident, Zotero would've automatically restored the most recent automatic backup. There's really nothing else we can tell you here other than to make sure you don't let your disk-cleanup programs delete…

Can you provide a Debug ID for trying to open a file?
-
@animusastralis: CSL `number` and `part-number` are different. See the GitHub issue I linked above for the discussion of why Part Number was added.
-
Yes, Director is no longer mapped to Author for Video Recording ("Creator" is), so it doesn't populate the Creator column, which is just author/editor/contributor. We could consider adding a special fallback to Director for that item type, since the…

Group admins can rename it from the group settings online.

@animusastralis: We added a Part Number (mapped to a dedicated CSL field) for Journal Article. If that isn't what you're looking for, start a new thread and explain what you're trying to put there.
-
@RamonMi: Did it stall with the circular progress bar visible or after the circular progress bar was replaced with a journal-article icon? If the latter, a plugin was processing the updates. (Older versions of BBT would've been slow there, but the l…

Sorry, my mistake. We have a fix for this, but it didn't make it into 2.0.1. We'll put out a 2.0.2 shortly with this fix.
