[JavaScript Error: "Invalid sortIndex '0003751'" {file: "chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/data/item.js" line: 4070}] If you're running the Zotero 7.1 beta on the other computer, install it on this one as well. (If you're not, this could also be from a…

You sent that before any failure occurred. (Note that that's an upload for a 1.7 GB file. But if you can provide a full Debug ID, we can try to figure out why it's failing.)
-
You'll need to say more about what exactly you're trying and what's happening.
-
Can you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for a sync attempt that fails?
-
See Changes Not Syncing.
-
That works fine for me. Can you provide a Report ID and a link to a PDF where this isn't happening?

As I've mentioned to you before, anyone inclined to work on Jurism should instead work on converting its functionality into multiple plugins. There's no reason this should be a fork anymore, and there's no reason the legal functionality should be co…

You have to say what the problem is that you're experiencing. If you're talking about file syncing, you're getting an HTTP 503 Service Unavailable error from your WebDAV server with the message "BlockedTemporarily / Too many requests are received re…

Right, ZotFile hasn't been updated to work with Zotero 7. There are other plugins that provide equivalent functionality. It depends on what exactly you're trying to do.
-
If you can identify the plugin that was breaking it (enabling one by one and restarting Zotero), you should report it to the plugin's developer.
-
There's no need to use an old version of Zotero. Zotero 7 itself and various plugins provide equivalent functionality as ZotFile.
-
I'm afraid all we can tell you is that the app is sending an Authorization header and the server is responding with a 401 Unauthorized.

No: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/457889/#Comment_457889 There's an option in the iOS app to export files, with or without annotations, and that will be possible in an upcoming version of the Android app as well, but that's just for …

You should report this to LibreOffice.

the plug-in no longer appears on my taskbar Not sure what you're referring to here. Do you mean the Zotero Connector in your browser? when I tried to download it again, it didn't work Meaning what, exactly? The page is unresponsive although I presse…

As long as some of the gray background is showing, you can tap the left and right sides of that to turn pages even when an annotation tool is selected. I assume you know this, but when an annotation tool isn't selected, you can tap anywhere along t…

Restart in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins. If that fixes it, you'll need to identify the plugin that's causing it and then report the problem to the plugin's developer.

@ankitp94: As long as it's not growing unbounded, 3-4 GB RAM with multiple tabs open isn't necessarily a sign of a problem. You should see more or less what you see loading multiple PDFs in Firefox. As I say, in future versions, we'll be optimizing…

1) A report about memory usage is only useful if you can reproduce the problem with all plugins disabled and Zotero restarted. If you can narrow high/growing memory usage to a single plugin (again, after restarting Zotero), you should report that to…

Make sure you can reproduce the problem in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins, as well as after restarting your computer. If you're still having trouble, provide a Debug ID for Z…

What's the problem, exactly? See Reporting Problems for the two things we need to help. Make sure you're clicking Add/Edit Citation, not Add Note. Add Note is for adding Zotero notes, not footnotes.

@fschuman: The tag selector only has to be generated intermittently, when you switch collections, and the results can appear whenever they're ready. Autocomplete requires searching all tags in the library on every (debounced) keypress, and needs to …

@kim.vallee: This should be fixed in the current beta. Thanks. (Also, be sure to note in your thread when you're running a beta.)
-
@kdb_research, @alexcr87: This should be fixed in the latest beta. Thanks.

This is how saving works, and has for many years. It saves to whatever collection is selected in Zotero, but you can choose a different collection/group and add tags from the save popup in the browser, which will update the item in Zotero. You can m…

(Please start new threads for new issues — the thread you posted to isn't related. I've moved this to a new thread.) It's not clear what you mean here. See Reporting Problems for the info we need to help you.

The Aurora Store just pulls from Google Play, so I don't think that solves the problem here. Again, we'll be making an APK available that will do its own check for updates, and people will also be able to use Obtanium or similar pointed at the downl…

Assuming you mean light/dark mode and not the reader theme: With Zotero closed, it would be setting browser.theme.toolbar-theme = 0 (dark) / 1 (light) / 2 (auto) in prefs.js in the Zotero profile folder. With Zotero running, you'd have to script i…

What browser? Can you provide a Debug ID from the Zotero Connector for reloading the page and trying to save?

(Please try to use more descriptive thread titles when posting here.) The reader does follow intra-PDF links, and it then includes a back button to go back to the previous page. If you're not seeing that somewhere, the citations may not be active l…
