This plugin allows this, nested tags, and more: https://github.com/MuiseDestiny/zotero-style Let me know if you need any help setting it up. I posted a picture of it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/zotero/comments/181ojwf/a_plugin_that_allows_tag…

This worked for me too. Thank you

I don't know of any quick collection jump feature. I've always thought Zotero should show the collections a source is in, maybe in the info section or as another side tab. Edit-- just read another issue about this: https://forums.zotero.org/discus…

My pleasure!

Oh, right. I get you. Yes, so what this plugin adds is that it displays these nested tags in a hierarchical way. This is much more user-friendly IMO. https://imgur.com/c6OLNyG It also allows the tags to show up in the reference table: https://im…

I don't think Zotero already supports hierarchical tags; what do you mean by that?
-
Hi all. I just found this plugin that allows hierarchical tags https://github.com/MuiseDestiny/zotero-style#nested-tags For a tag to show up with the plugin it must start with a # and the subcategory must start with a forward slash (/) in the for…

This plugin allows nested tags and some other great features: https://github.com/MuiseDestiny/zotero-style#nested-tags

I agree; the plugin for dark mode is really good.

Amazing! That is so great. I just changed the setting. I noticed it didn't change the names of the PDFs I already had open. I thought maybe it didn't work. I then opened a new PDF and realised it worked. I wonder if it is worthwhile mentioning t…

@Tampelwhat1 Not sure I follow. You can already split the pdf! Right-click the pdf > Split

Hovering over a reference to get info, would be amazing. Redcube papers, a paid reference management software, has this feature for some articles: https://www.papersapp.com/ See the example here: https://www.nature.com/articles/nature10414.epdf?s…

Interesting. Thanks for sharing that link.

I think this plugin might have an option to do this: https://github.com/frangoud/ZoteroDuplicatesMerger One of its options is: Select how to handle type conflicts (skip items, force type of master): this option determines what will happen if two…

I've wanted to do this too. I didn't realise smart folders were even a thing on mac! Cheers for that. I guess you could also search for .pdf in the storage folder and that should show you a list of the pdfs

Thanks, dstillman. That helps at least. I hope it can get introduced at some point. I just noticed a few others have also requested this on another post: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/23377/searching-collection-names/p2

Thanks for your input. I also don't like the search. Related, I would love better sorting of posts (e.g., time created, Amount of responses, views etc). I don't always like seeing what has been most recently posted/commented on. @adamsmith maybe…

Yes, I'm actually talking about collections/subcollections when I say folders. I'll update that. Thanks for pointing that out. Do you know if this is possible? If not, do you think it is will be useful to add?
-
Potentially!
-
This add-on does just this: https://github.com/tefkah/zotero-night I use it and I highly recommend it. Enjoy! :) Can someone please add this to the plugins page?
-
+ 1 too
-
+1 I would love to have the ability to remove duplicates on import.
-
Thanks for letting me know, dstillman. Looking forward to it.

Thanks for letting me know. I think it would be great if this info was on the side panel. Perhaps in the info section or a new tab.

Glad to know I'm not the only user who had this thought! Great additional suggestions both :)
