Groups can have files shared to their members. They do not support very complicated permissions, but see if you can make it work. It can't be branded per se unless you try to run your own Zotero server, but that's a complicated process that I belie…

If this isn't a terribly large community, what about running the whole thing as a Zotero group, on Zotero.org?
-
Could this be an issue with the use of namespaces? We usually pass a stub function for resolving namespaces to document.evaluate, but your pages are quite namespace-rich, and perhaps that isn't enough for them. We would very much like to have Zoter…

On some platforms, you can drag PDF attachments from the library window to your desktop or other applications.
-
Open the Zotero pane and click the "Create New Item from Current Page" button.
-
You will need to post the Debug ID here so Dan knows which output is yours.
-
Many people have used Dropbox. If you use Dropbox instead of syncing, you risk causing data corruption, but there should be no risk in using it if you use Zotero from only one computer. Of course, such "live" online backup is no protection against …

Looking at the CrossRef metadata (http://www.crossref.org/openurl/?url_ver=Z39.88-2004&req_dat=usr:pwd&rft_id=info:doi/10.1007/978-3-642-15515-4_23&format=unixref&redirect=false), it looks like this is another case of odd metadata co…

It could be specific to your SIRSI installation -- the translator attempts to flexible and work with all configurations of SIRSI, but some catalogs require that we add some more logic to the translator to account for their idiosyncratic page structu…

I will try to fix this. Note that it does save them correctly, at least in my experience, although it does erroneously display a book icon in the address bar.
-
No, this isn't yet possible. It's a great idea and it comes up often, but it would be rather hard to implement and it's probably not on the near horizon.
-
I use the related tab extensively, especially for different versions of a text or to connect a bibliographic item with the bibliographic source where I found it -- connecting a catalog or censor's log with the specific volumes that I have looked for…

Could child items (the images) of the Zotero entries still have the No PDF tag on them? The grayed-out title usually means that the item itself doesn't match the current condition (here, the current tag), but one of its child items does match (here,…

You should be able to do this by creating a collection or a tag for the items you want to send, then doing an advanced search for type = PDF or something of the sort. Per Dan's last commend in http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/2752/parent-and-chil…

Yes, at present the contents of a group library are duplicated on every computer that uses the group. There has been discussion of downloading files on demand, but I don't know if such a feature will be coming in the near future.
-
No, but you can create a saved search for items created or modified in the last day or week. That should be a good start for you.
-
There is much hope in the Zotero user and developer community that a version of Zotero incorporating the new CSL processor will be released soon. Zotero 2.1 will support this. Zotero 2.1 should be coming rather soon.

That page works for me. Can you replicate this issue after restarting Firefox?
-
This is an issue with the data that the site embeds. Contact the site's tech support about the author name issue -- I'll try to look into the item type issue.
-
It looks like they were working on an internal solution using unAPI, which is probably the most robust and reliable approach to supporting Zotero on a site. For some reason, the unAPI server isn't working correctly. If you have contacts in the libra…

This has been committed to the repository. Hopefully it can be pushed soon. https://www.zotero.org/trac/changeset/6628

This will be fixed soon: http://groups.google.com/group/zotero-dev/browse_thread/thread/79240a331bf4bd71 I just need to review the translator and Dan will get it out to clients.

We don't use a controlled vocabulary at the moment. Is the element just not imported at all? My guess is that our Embedded RDF translator just isn't importing dc.language -- that's something we can fix rather easily. If you don't mind language tags…

Feel free to post a link to the updated version of freepatentsonline.js to the developer list at http://groups.google.com/group/zotero-dev/ and I will review it for distribution with Zotero (once I catch up on the backlog of reviews I have already).
-
It may be easiest to install Scaffold 1.0 (a Firefox add-on, hopefully allowed by your security policies) on each computer and copy-and-paste the updated translator into each client. Scaffold is the only easy way to update and edit translators in th…

I really can't work on this now. I understand that it is very important that key databases be working as the academic year starts, and I hope we can make this happen. Can anyone else step up? I should note that selecting results in EBSCO and expor…

Looking at http://fclaweb.fcla.edu/mango , I think that they have written a custom library catalog package that Zotero does not yet support. I'm not sure, but it looks like FSU just recently switched to a front-end based on the Mango project of the …

That all said, contacting Encore about making their interface more Zotero friendly would be great.

I believe I have addressed this. Please go to http://github.com/ajlyon/zotero-bits/raw/master/Library Catalog (InnoPAC).js and save the file to the translators directory of your Zotero data directory (http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data). It…

I have committed the ERIC translator to the repository (https://www.zotero.org/trac/changeset/6458). Hopefully it will be pushed to clients soon. Edit: Well, apparently Dan is faster at pushing than I am at posting.
